  • Are Italian Courts Still Approving the 1948 Cases of Italian Citizenship by Descent in 2024?
Understanding the 1948 Rule: A Deep Dive into Italian Citizenship Jure Sanguinis application in 2024.
    🇮🇹 Welcome to @lawfirmbersani 🇮🇹
Welcome to our comprehensive guide on the 1948 cases of Italian Citizenship, a pivotal aspect of Italian law that affects many people seeking citizenship through their ancestry.
In this video, we will show some recent cases processed (and won) of 1948 Cases of Italian Citizenship by Descent, both in 2023 and 2024.
Explaining the practical implications of the 1948 Rule in Italian citizenship law.
Whether you're a descendant of Italian immigrants, a legal professional, or simply interested in the intricacies of citizenship laws, this video is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of the 1948 Rule, its significance, and how it could impact your eligibility for Italian citizenship.
The 1948 Rule refers to a specific legal principle arising from the Italian Constitution of 1948, which has profound implications for those seeking Italian citizenship through jus sanguinis (right of blood). Prior to this, Italian citizenship was transmitted only through the male line, excluding many descendants of Italian emigrants. However, the 1948 Rule acknowledges the right of individuals born to Italian women before 1948 to claim Italian citizenship, under certain conditions.

To clarify, did the Bari case have the minor issue? Also, when was it heard? Are there any more recent minor cases won in Bari?

Nice case studies. I just found your videos.
My court would be in Palermo. How long does it take to get a hearing after filing the 1948 case? Do judges make decisions on the same day? Thank you!
