Common Errors & solutions
Error -71: Use the (USB Safe) option in the boot menu.
Error -77: Remove your passcode before starting the jailbreak, you can set it back once done.
Error -78: Exit checkra1n and double-check you entered sudo checkra1n
Secure Boot Errors: You can disable Secure Boot in your BIOS settings.
USB Errors: Try swapping cables and changing from USB 2.0 (black port) to 3.0 (blue port) and vice versa.
Graphics Errors: Use the (Graphics Safe) option in the boot menu.

To my surprise it actually works, but the SIM card activation screen popped up and I still need the iCloud for that 😂luckily it’s friends cousins icloud
Finally got this to work for me, but I had to do the following:
1. When logging onto checkra1n I used "root" instead of "anon"
2. I actually used v2.1 of FRP because the current one (v2.8.6) wouldnt detect my ipad
3. I had Itunes opened when i hit the "Bypass Icloud..." button on FRP
I was using Ipad pro 2017 (9.7 inch) on ios 13.4

If you’re from the future and you’re watching this, here’s some things you might want to know about this tutorial.
1. Before booting to your usb, make sure that in SETUP (look it up, ur supposed to click another Fnumber) you disable something like “safe boot” because that’s what make your pc always reboot on windows.
2. When trying to open the bypass app (such as frpfile), turn off your antivirus first or else it’ll get deleted

Yes or you can install checkrain on ubuntu by typing to terminal: sudo apt get install checkra1n
First of all, yes it does work. Checkra1n is legit and will unlock your device. My only issue is that I'm using IOS 11 which isn't compatible so I guess my iPhone 6S Plus will remain an unusable brick until they either include IOS 11 or the previous owner decides to remove the Icloud Lock remotely from iTunes.
I'm using IOS 11.2.2 just to be more specific.

In theory; could you not then log into another Apple ID to associate the device under a new account? Then when you restore the device again it would ask you for the "new" account information for the activation unlock? JW

Yeah you can’t, you can still gets Apps and stuff but you can’t do FaceTime and login to it
also, u could use rufus to burn the iso to a flash drive

I’m a big fan. When you restart and you have to do the process again can’t you just switch the Apple ID when in ten phone to your own. Because I have a iPhone 6 which 8 bought and is activation locked.
I signed in to my icloud account what would happen if I turn on icloud would it now have my account linked or will it want me to remove the previous account which the phone was originally locked with

this should also work on earlier devices like the 5S.
It might also work on even earlier devices like the ip5 if you in checkra1n go to options and tick the box to allow untested ios versions
but ip5 is 32 bits. there might be a conflict bcoz ip5s+ have 64 bits

(You'll have to find out how to enter DFU mode on the device but checkra1n will help with that)

For everyone here in 2024, this works but you have to click through many ads for the bypass tool. Registering the device is actually free.
Why not back up the phone when the bypass is done then reset it and restore the backup and then the phone goes back to normal

It’s an untethered jailbreak so if the phone resets or dies it goes back to being locked.
zSteps to remove icloud that works :
Step1: Open your internet browser and type: Bypassra1n
Step2: Submit your IMEI ( to find imei or the serial number take out the SIM tray )
Step3: The service will submit your IMEI/Serial to Apple server and whitelist you device.
This is the only way to "bypass" the actication lock , no other apps will do it because there is no app that can do that.

I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is.
For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho
