Guys, can't thank you enough for your love.
And thanks to this beautiful song which has brought people of different cultures and ages together. It feels like this music has worked as a conduit for all of us to connect with each other, encouraged to share part of our lives.
We all have certain memory with this song for some it could be a place, time or a person. I strongly believe that at times, music is like time-travel because of its ability to evoke unsolicited emotions. One day, you’re walking to class and you hear someone playing a song you once shared with someone you loved and suddenly your body freezes up. Why does this happen? Is it nostalgia? Bitterness? Longing?
Idk. But, that feeling is so surreal.
Anyway, keep listening to this beautiful song. Take care and peace ☮️❤️

I still remember the day this song came out, I had stopped listening to the music due to hardships of life and was too busy working and supporting my family, I was only 20. this song came on TV while I was having dinner. It did something to me, as if it had awoken a dead person inside me. I started to listen to music again, still remember I used to take my walkman with me to work. It was so inspirational that later on I went ahead and record three of my own songs. Nothing special but just wanted to do something I couldn't before. I am in my 40s now and my phone has all these albums, never stopped listening since then. Good stuff!!!
Imagine early 2000's. You are home after school, you switch on your PC, this plays on Windows Media Player with changing skins! No complications, no 'boycott a Pak band' as its topping our music charts. Life was good! ❤️
So true. M staying at my childhood home in Bangalore for the last 2 months. Exploring old casette albums, &: paper bound photo albums , ;) life was so awesome then!!!

True sayings..
Its not your
These are the times when India and Pakistan believed in getting in touch with each other often, without hate. Childhood buried in the songs of Strings. Much Love from New Delhi
Releasing songs to Indian audience doesn't mean shit. Has Pakistan ever thought about calling it a truce for good at the border? What about the governments of both the countries and their armies? Just because they released a song doesn't mean they wanted peace.
@@vipultripathi2300 And I didn't say that Strings was the answer to Indo-Pakistan conflict. But once upon a time, when they played for audiences of both countries, in those times, peace seemed much closer than today. I come from a Military family, no one knows more than I, who loses out the most on Pakistan's cavalier attitude. But such cultural interactions once seemed to work. Maybe not anymore, and I understand your reply, but we, being the ancient roots of the subcontinent, have to be the bigger people in all this
And now that's history. .I no longer get excited thinking us playing Cricket together. .Our feelings got murdered. .Now all we play, fear, propagate is war. .Thanks to the global games and our incompetence. .
Actually it did work, i remember there was a lot of aman ki asha things going on. We are so unlucky people ☹️
Wish you people kept voting for Congress this wouldn't have happened

There was "Class" in the music in those years. And when it comes to music it never bothered me and still doesn't - whether they are from Pakistan or India. Bands like Fuzon, Strings, Junoon created magic.
Musicians are above boundaries.they try to bind us. Still best.
This should be the spirit to judge musicians.Musicians are above cast creed above any national. Like river no boundaries for them.

Only 90's kids could understand the importance of albums, we used to hear when we were younger.
No raps, item number, punjabi beats could even match with these
@@commentsfcommentsl5115 May be but not proper one with hip-hop like today. Or it might have very good meaning or context.
Which is totally absent today. Unnecessary raps and beats kills the music.
India went the other way they started becoming commercialized and started giving out totally commercialized songs which do bring them tons of views but the quality isn't there. Pakistan on the other hand also went to commercialized songs only recently that's only lollywood but Pakistani audience never really accepted them cz the real essence of Urdu music was still there cz our bands never got out of the limelight and they are still producing gems

I'm listening this song after 10 years and I'm shocked to see there are mostly indian comments and we pakistani forgot our golden times ♥️
Pakistanis didn't forget their golden times. The reason why a lot of Indian comments are top comments is because they receive a lot of likes. There are many more Pakistanis who listen to their old music and appreciate it than Indians. For heaven's sake, don't judge your people by top comments on a CZcams video. Comments from foreigners do tend to receive a lot more likes so they give the illusion that it's only them who're listening to the music. Just because you listened to this song after 10 years and yourself forgot Pakistan's golden era of music doesn't mean we did as well. Itni samajh toh honi chahiye aap logon ko.

Message to the new generation, please don’t let this gem die. Keep listening to it even if us 90s people are gone.
The two best things about Strings is Faisal’s deep and expressive voice and Bilal’s resonating and bone chilling guitaring. Bilal is such a genius guitarist that not only his repetitions in a song are great but also the interlude guitaring he does is mind blowing. In this song his guitaring and Faisal’s voice literally create a mood of longing and distance which matches the title Duur. Amazing band ❤️👌👍🏻❤️
