Wow, the first couple was very insightful. I never knew ptsd could manifest as anger and paranoia. I hope he gets some serious help as soon as possible. When he snapped back into his trauma, he went on a repeat loop. I’m blown away. I just never knew.

It’s really hard, I didn’t have ptsd like that but I had relationship ptsd that I ruined not knowingly to my current bf and I drove him away lots of times accusing him of cheating because I was so scared it’d happen again and I didn’t know I pushed him so far until I saw him break down or try and break up understandably, I would cry and hurt myself and throw up just thinking about other women with him and I never knew I was the issue until too late, I’d get mad ab little things like less attention or not being home from work on time little things I can see now are completely normal, it’s hell living like that and it really makes it feel like your right and someone’s hurting you :(

The mother is still talking about herself, saying things like “Have you ever used hard drugs?” To her own daughter as the daughter talks about her pain, the mom can talk about her own struggles, it looked like she didn’t listen to her daughter’s pain and talked about herself.
The last lady was a drug addict with narcissistic tendencies and her daughter underestimates how much of an impact that can have on people. Her mother has nothing to give.
The first story is a great example of how guilt and paranoia can eat you up. These men get forgiven and spend eternity trying to find things to make them feel less guilty

Wow! The last clip of the mother and daughter. That mother clearly has been through so much, but she still has a hard time APOLOGIZING AND FULLY ACCEPTING HER ACTIONS that affected her daughter! She kept making excuses and offering explanations, but never just outright apologized for hurting her. I hope the daughter sees this and knows how much love and support she has behind her. You can tell how emotionally intelligent she has become because of what she dealt with growing up. I’m rooting for the mother’s healing, but ESPECIALLY so for the daughter. The way the guy in the second clip got quiet when he was asked, what does being an involved father look like to you and how how he answered shows the generational trauma he experienced from his own father. He was not guided and is perpetuating that same experience onto his own children.

I'm so glad he accepted the offer of therapy. I saw him soften in that moment and allow his authentic vulnerable side to be seen.

@@Lakesha-iy4fz i think trying to listen to them. and be patient because healing takes time. you love them and if you want things to get better, try slowly easing your way back into their lives. listen to them when they’re ready to be vulnerable about their side of the story. don’t cut them off or say anything until they’ve put out their sentiment, that way they’ll feel heard by you. then apologize. addiction must’ve been so difficult for you and i’m truly sorry but it’s no excuse to treat your children differently. even if you feel like they’re wrong, family is important. if it happened years ago, just apologize and work towards the future.

I just want to hug the last girl. As a momma my heart breaks for the mom that she is and the 15 year old that she was.
The third one and last really got me crying. It makes me wanna be way better to my mother cause others have way worse and my mother isn’t even a horrible parent, she and my grandmother are amazing. I am writing this as a 12 yr old who is sometimes rebellious. I don’t listen to my mother when she gives me the best advice, now that I see this it makes me want to love my mother tons!

those two young girls are perfect examples of strength, to be betrayed by a man over and over. be left with two kids each with an immature father doing the minimal...wow..they were respectful of themselves and each other, they were mature when their baby daddy was having an emotional convo with Karamo. they didnt beat him down although he did them bad. they are even co parenting with each other, their kids from same dad. We need more women like them. who look and another woman regardless of the circumstance and see themselves. just want them to wrap it up, kids are blessings but no more kids till they find a mature man and also there are diseases out there and they need to be healthy and alive to raise their beautiful kids. dont let these men who dont care about them take them away from who needs them

I understand the last girl completely. Having a damaged mother who allows her bad choices and lack of self respect to negatively effect their children is not something we can understand. As the child, we cant comprehend how our own mothers can allow us to experience pain, suffering, and damage. It’s their choices that caused us to feel pain and we don’t see how their own pain can allow them to fail to protect their children.

I agree with you this broke my heart I didn't have a relationship with my mother I had a lot anger as a child, but when I became a mother I had to understand that my mother wasn't able to be there for me as a mother because she didn't know how her mother wasn't there for her. That last mother was a piece of work. She is for sure not sober and not sorry. It's all about her. The daughter just wanted an apology and an acknowledgement that she screwed up as a parent. That woman is going to be one foot in the grave before she gets to see or spend any meaningful time with any of her grandkids with that attitude.

She can’t apologize for her past because she doesn’t want to. She feels that she did no wrong. Her simply being there isn’t enough because from what it looks like she’s only there to shut her daughter down, and save face and defend her actions. I have been scared as a child but I don't let it bother me. My mom was a victim of abuse and domestic violence .She got caught up in drugs. It's been mental illness in my family. My mom had mental illness all my childhood years. I respect her because I saw a sophisticated and intelligent woman before the illness. Now I'm her caregiver. I treat her with all the respect in the world.

I don't understand how people can still be with a person after they've cheated. It's like..once you've cheated on me, you're dead to me. You're no longer on my radar, you don't exist.
I hope the last girls stays strong and doesn't let her mother inflict more pain on her and her daughter. I wouldn't be surprised to learn her mother is a malignant narcissist and feels resentment towards her daughter for bringing her on the show. When you injure a narcissist they are cruel and spiteful. It is a toxic place; living with a narcissist. It can make you physically ill on top of the mental health impacts.
