I can't believe that Kira would cheat on her husband Ben with another man and their son Joshua got injured to his head and lost some of his memories because of her lover who deliberately knocked the ladder on purpose. Kira doesn't seem to be concern about her own son's life, I mean she's his mother but she's more concern about her lover instead. Well at least both Kira and her lover got what's coming of them at the end of the story now that her husband Ben found out the truth and their Joshua regain his memories, but they don't need to get revenge on them for their deciet as Karam made sure that they're punish and now arrested by the police.

Child neglect charges are quite serious and can lead to some time in jail but I doubt she'll hardly spend anywhere near her entire life in prison. She'll probably only spend a few years in jail if that. Probably even just probation considering she left him outside. Though she'll likely lose custody of the boy.
