This is incredibly helpful. Most often an object casts a shadow from multiple light sources - some of them creating subtle additions and variations within and without a primary shadow. A simple cast shadow in Photoshop doesn't capture such nuances. Also, different levels of an object - say a piece of paper with a slight curve - cast a shadow with degrees of variation and spread that are difficult to fake. This technique captures the real thing! Thank you. I've watched many of your short form videos. It's good to see you going into more depth within a longer format.
