Also consider while compressing with this beast that the output has flavor up and down it. Use your fader volume and output control for even more textures and feel.

One of my most used UAD plugins. Go to compressor. Keep it simple.

So for a faster attack on the Ln you wanna turn the knob all the way to 1.
And for a faster release you wanna turn the knob all the way to the right?

I am missing a control to switch between different 1176 types, does this exist?

There's one thing I don't like about all UA plugins. The poor VU meter response. Sometimes it jumps from -2 to -5 and jerks around like a fish, anyway if the DAW has enough overhead. Are the plug-ins really that good if the software developers don't manage to get a clean VU?

Just demoed it . It's nearly same as the legacy versions.

It really isn’t. I got it free through referring a freind and after a couple of months you REALLY see the difference. Especially when you run low on DSP and decide to go back to the Legacy versions. They’re still awesome!! But these versions definitely sound better.

Hi. The jarring music in the background made it really difficult to listen to information that I would really like to know.

Hi Richard, that's one of our older videos and you're right, the music is a bit too loud. Our newer vids don't have this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. Check out the product page and this video for more information. czcams.com/video/o9bLaXSkGwQ/video.html

Sorry these settings are not musical in my opinion. Don't misunderstand me but they were looking too digital to my opinion, digital distortion which means cold and crushy sounds....

I agree with the examples as most company produced demos are pretty poor, but...
The audio is not clipping like you describe, but an algorithm that simulates the original hardware, which is "golden ear" different. I'm sure you'll have better results. I take company produced demos with a grain of salt.
