Could you give your opinion on the expert rating certificates?
So no degrees in the arts 🎭?

I have a bachelors and masters in accounting. It isn't rocket science but sometimes the accounting profession makes it rocket science so that we can charge our clients more. Also, I'm glad that Shane said accounting probably won't go away because all my friends who don't know what accounting is are telling me that it's gonna be replaced by machines and I'm like hey, just because buzzfeed said accountants are gonna be replaced by ChatGPT doesn't mean its true. This profession is not concerned about AI, Automation, or machine learning in the slightest. If anything, accountants have been waiting for decades for these technologies to come to fruition so that we can focus on other tasks.
Don't y'all have laws and stuff anyways that protect your jobs?
@@trawsoza2926 I don't think any laws explicitly protects us from being replaced by technologies but the profession tries to create barriers of entry to become Certified Public Accountants. There are a lot of states changing the requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant because of the talent shortage the profession is facing.
@@spire259 oh I see
@Dakota Bledsoe there are such thing as crypto accountants and block chain experts in the accounting profession. Crypto is now taxed with its own rules. Blockchain tech is being implemented in accounting and auditing. If accountants are anything, they are masters of change. Every new technology is supposedly gonna put accountants out of business ( the release of Microsoft excel is one example). Not sure if Crypto ever will affect accountants like people initially thought.
do you think accounting is female dominated @SPIRE259

I'll just throw this out there. My sis-in-law is a high school drop out. She got her nursing degree in 3 years, went on to get a masters, & is considering going for a PhD. Now... despite dropping out of high school, she's an amazing, highly-motivated person who just loves what she's doing as a nurse, so that definitely helps
What do you do? Kind of odd to focus on a sister in law. I have a background in physics & engineering (nuclear) and then I did nursing. My neck is crooked, so I'm considering computer science as a possible option for the remainder of my life. After everything I've done & my age, I am not interested in earning a master's and indebting myself. I'm past the age where that would make sense. This man is wrong, engineering is not harder than nursing. Nursing courses are on par with engineering. Ask any school that. The program is harder. Clinicals, responsibility, lack of sleep, it's dangerous. This guy lost all credibility stating such a biased opinion as fact. You can not compare the two. They are science and BOTH have extraordinarily difficult curriculum & elements involved in learning.
@melissahouse3488
i think people misunderstand what he means when he says “easy”.
its college. you’re gonna have to work for any degree that gets money.
but compared to like mechanical engineering or biochemistry, yes, all of these degrees are pretty easy
Probably a dumb question, but, mechanical engineering is hard? I always thought it was the standard (read: basic) engineering field compared to the other ones.
@@ked4 Mechanical is about average in difficulty FOR engineering but engineering is one of the hardest if not the hardest group of majors
It being the "standard" doesn't mean it's easy. The foundations of engineering itself are hard, so most engineering degrees are hard. @@ked4
@travo6805 whats the average pay for mechinical engineering? And is it a 9 to 5?
@@travo6805
I think there’s a confusion between the difficulty of the degree vs the profession. Yes nursing may be an easier degree than an engineering degree but as a profession I feel that can be debated, ofc depending on preference but imo I’d slightly edge nursing more difficult as a profession. This is coming from someone who wants to study CS
I have a background in physics & environmental engineer, I then did nursing. I'm now considering my options due to a bad neck, in Computer science. So I noticed your comment and wanted to thank you for letting him know it is a matter of opinion but the nursing programs at any given school are right on par with engineering for a reason. The advanced anatomy, physiology, med Surg, these are some of the most difficult materials one could ever attempt to learn. You are also having to learn this while performing late night clinicals and on little to no sleep! You have the direct responsibility of a life in your hand, and have to be quick!!! I told the guy off for such ignorance & claiming such sentiments as fact, as if he took nursing or is in an educated position to compare them? You can not compare two different arena's of science. Just because he found biology to be boring or unstimulating or "not difficult" doesn't classify it as easier but that of his own interpretation/opinion. Neither one is easy. That outlandishly false claim discredits him and I know now not to trust his overtly inflated channel or anything he says going forward. Him classifying nursing as an "easy" degree is a hoot & a half!!! I'd love to know if he became a nurse to state something that absurd!!! Thank you for standing up to his statement!!! I was hoping other people offended by that kind of arrogance would put him in his place! I'll find my computer science information from a far better source, as in people that actually work in it and at the schools. If this guy was successful, he'd be legit working & contributing in the world. He's a clown promoting another egocentric, God worship glorifying fest channel. 🙄PhD indeed!!! I never met one so daft & off and I've known plenty!!!
Hows environmental engineering and whyd you decide to switch? If youd be so kind
True, I am an engineer and I can say that working as a nurse is hard!
I got into data analytics with a CS degree. Honestly it's a pretty straightforward profession if you can nail down some Power BI and SharePoint.
My BA is in Communications (I know😢)...but I'm doing Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate. I'm trying my best to learn SQL and Excel. But it's been a challenge.
Data is definitely the new gold🧡
@@catmouse2882 Don't get down on yourself about that. Know what my original degree was in? Animal Science. 🤣🤣🤣
10 years later(yes 10) I finally graduate in CS with failed attempts in Animal science and Biology.
You'll be fine. Honestly not mastering SQL isn't the end of the world. There are so many tools like Microsoft SQL server that can write the query for you. I almost never have to write SQL from scratch.
It's much more important to master a tool for data visuals, like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
@Wolf Works Animal Science? Yeah...you won🤣
Microsoft SQL writes the queries for you!!??? Sign me up🤣
I've been working with BigQuerey from Google. I hate it!!!🤣
Data visualization I definitely need practice with. Tableau is a difficult for me. I'm gonna look into Power BI.

For anyone wishing to go into nursing think about it hard the career is hard on you in every aspect (a lot of stress career). I recently quit nursing school and it was a hard decision because it took a long time to accomplish the pre req courses ,especially because every nursing student needs a 4.0 (in California). Its also near impossible to get into schools when everyone has a 4.0 and strong teas test. I simultaneously worked in the hospital for a long time, the field is not worth it in my opinion. To much stress and PTSD and not much appreciation. I went back to finish my Computer engineering degree
Is it any different from a travel nurse? What didnt u like abt it? And is it super hard to attain a job after u graduate?
@@Marmaleydenursing will always have job security, however they're overworked just as many other healthcare employees are. Travel nurses are expected to hit the ground running when they arrive to a facility / hospital.
I’m a nurse it’s not that bad lol
Nursing school is just tough
I've worked with a lot of nurses. They're forced to carry loads I wouldn't even look at. They're shit on just as much as other hospital staff, which is all of them.
Data analytics is relatively easy but it isn’t something I see myself doing unless it’s in a subject I’m interested in. Just a thought for those who are interested. Just try it.
I wouldn’t want to be a nurse because of all the workplace bullying and 12 hour shifts. The only time people recognize you is when you are doing something wrong.
Shane illustrates all the points well. If a degree is hard for a specific individual(s), that doesn’t then make it a difficult degree!
Nursing is difficult, but compared to engineering and so forth, its easier!
The same goes with accounting, and others that were mentioned. Context!
Love your content, Very High Quality. You are an amazing person!
Engineering really isnt that bad. Yes school has its painful moments, but post college is very cool and rewarding. I graduated just a year ago and am already in that 6-figure range, and have the option to work remotely. If youre interested in engineering, I say definitely do it and dont be afraid
My stepson is in college studying chemical engineering. He likes it. Chemistry is his favorite subject in high school.
Which field of engineering are you in?
@@catmouse2882 I did a dual major in school, choosing Mechanical and Aerospace engineering. My current job is in the Aerospace industry which has been fantastic so far
@CB Good for you🙂
I hope my stepson will find good paying jobs after he graduates like you did.
I don't know much about chemical engineering but my son wants to work in computer chip manufacturing....I didn't know that had something to do with chemical engineering.
@@catmouse2882 Im sure he will, chemical engineering is a great profession and there are ample jobs out there, especially for chip manufacturing and anything to do with batteries
What do you think about civil engineering? Can you share your views about it
I’m not saying Nursing is the hardest major in the world, but please don’t give people the impression that it’s easy.
The homework you saw in question probably had to do with pharmacology. And yes, nursing students don’t go as in depth into the chemistry and science of drugs; but what makes nursing hard is the fact that it isn’t super in depth. You have to know a bunch of different things enough to apply your knowledge in a given scenario.
For comparison:
The dropout rate for computer science is 9.8%
The dropout rate for pharmacy is 15%.
The dropout rate for nursing school is 20%
Only thing I’d like to point out is the 9.8 for cs is for undergrad, the other 2 are medical school specialized. If they are not you can get your associates, bachelors and masters. I got my nursing degree by accident on my way to getting a cs degree and I didn’t even notice I had finished most of it ( I just need anatomy now ). There’s also other classes such as associates, bachelor, masters level nurses which statistics don’t get into .
Lol, I'm in graduate economics, and have taken some graduate finance classes (I did engineering in undergraduate). Economics in graduate school is actually quite rigorous. It is all the business and finance classes that are much easier. So much so that 6000 students are enrolled in the graduate commerce, and only 300 in graduate economics. As soon as you mix any of the economics students into finance classes, the economics students come out with the high grades, and when you put any of the commerce students into the economics class, it turns out they had to make new classes just for the commerce students where all the mathematics is removed, just because too many were failing. On top of that the hardest class for a Master of Commerce student majoring in Economics is the prerequisite class for the actual Master of Economics. Even people from a Masters in International Relations were struggling in Economics.
If you think economics is hard, you should see econometrics :D
The perception that Econ is easy comes from the fact it is a social science. When you look up anything about economics on the internet it is at best realatively easy Econ 101, at worst just political discussion with an econ twist.
But then comes the reality, that your math knowledge better be on very high level. Pick up economics myself, just because i liked algebra and hated geometry to death.
Also now a days, you better be proficient at programming.
Commenting for the algorithm...great job Shane! I've been watching your videos since I graduated from college in something I didn't see myself doing for the rest of my life. I used to watch a lot of your videos back then and understood the importance of doing my own research and weighing the pros and cons of something. I am a grad student in bioinformatics now (was easy to transition) and I genuinely enjoy working. Never knew all this CS and programming stuff would be something I would enjoy doing, until I tried it.
Love the video, be careful when getting into a tech degree, a lot of companies are looking more for experience than a degree if you’re are not currently working at a tech company now then you should look for a job in one as you get your degree
Funny thing about “easy” degrees: Low barrier to entry means profit zero in the long run. High pay will not stay forever if a million people go into your field a year.
What keeps the pay is the struggle.
I make 120k as a safety specialist. A safety degree is the easiest thing in the world. Everything is OSHA or EPA based and all the answers are in the codes. The key is to only apply with government contractors and they all pay well generally. Move around and get a CPS or CIH and you can make 200k as a safety manager easily. After graduation, do entry level job for a year and move to another company. Easy money.
How do you get into this field I'm in nyc ?
@@Foreva_my_side 2 ways, you can get a degree and associates online or bachelor online in safety or you can get the certs, OSHA 30 construction, OSHA 30 general industry, OSHA hazwoper, OSHA competent person fall protection training. They have these training at 360training website and they're I think 120 each. It's easier to get a job with the degree, but with the certs you should be able to get your foot in the door and once you get a few months under your belt you can swap jobs and increase pay. I got a ton of army buddies who did that.
Hey was just wondering do you think its doable to get this degree with no background or knowledge to the field? And how long did it take you to finish school if you dont mind me asking, thanks!
the sad part is that 150K per years isn't really all that much anymore considering the cost of housing in a big city

Attending college at 31 with a major in Accounting.
When asked about how competitive internship placement is... The department head told me there are more internships than accounting students to fill them, every year. You may not get the one you want but you will get one. The college is visited by hedge funds, private companies, city departments, and even the IRS shows up.
My sister is a nurse that works in the emergency room with unlimited OT. I don't know what her official title is but when she showed me her tax statement her gross was 150k. She could've made more didn't do as much overtime.
@@royharper2003What a foolish comment. That's one of the highest salaries one could earn, she must be a nurse administrator at a hospital would be my guess. Would love to know how much you earn that your arrogant enough to put it down!?! 🙄 Probably peanuts!
Unless she is a hospital administrator, with a master's degree, I don't believe that amount. I don't know what it is with all the comments bragging about the nurse of the family. Although I will admit this guy is a jerk for claiming in the video nursing is an easy degree and easier than engineering. Highly false!!! That's his opinion, not fact!!!
I was just in nursing school and I want to point out that clinicals are the hardest part of the program. DO NOT go into nursing if you are shy around others and uncomfortable with others. Nurses are grumpy a lot of the time and will not want to help you out in the clinical setting. I just quit because I hated clinicals. The tests were not hard for me though. I hardly studied and got good enough grades.
So if you're afraid of other nurses don't do it? Sounds easy enough, I'm going for it.
@@Rocksolid1613 clinicals are not easy. You are juggling between filling out a ton of paperwork, figuring out the computers on your own, attempting to get a nurse to help you when they are not interested, going into a patients room to perform a task that you don’t know if you can actually do yet, and also completing all of the paperwork and tasks before you are able to leave the hospital. On top of those two nine hour days you have to go home and study for the remainder of the week and complete other class assignments. You also have to go to lecture which is usually about four or more hours. It is a tremendous amount of work so do it if you are prepared for it. I couldn’t see myself living that lifestyle the whole rest of my life.
If you are using Cerner for patient information it is going to be very challenging to fill out your clinical paperwork because there is so much information and it is hidden all over the place. There was no proper training that we got besides watching videos that were 5 hours long for Cerner training. This does not help at all. Also do not expect to shadow your instructor when you are in the hospital. You will hardly see them and at most you will see them only during lunch and for 5 other minutes the whole 9 hours you are there. Also, patients are not going to be happy a lot of the time. They are in the hospital for a reason. Everything that you perform must be professional with the patient and you must remember everything from skills labs.
@@bluebelly I went into nursing after my former life in physics & environmental engineering. My bent neck is such a painful problem, I'm considering my options. I am great at consumer protections, I work currently for a firm from home. Computer science was an idea I had. It's offered at the community college as well as the college across from my condo for a bachelor's. My concern is if a masters would be required for most employment opportunities and starting so late in life. Thank you for your insight, regarding nursing and I found it very interesting, your perspective. I feel badly about your advice, I am shy but I was somehow good at performing. I didn't consider it a sociable situation, but a confidence one. I learned how to irrigate tubing and so many other tasks from notes from coworkers or my mom explaining what to do. You are correct, there isn't much support or help. An a lot of back stabbing from my experiences. There is a very dark, seedy, corrupt & toxic culture and it's spilled over into abuse of the patients and the patient care experience has suffered Immensely due to how caddy & nasty some are in the medical field. The longer they are in, the more callous they get. I also know drug addiction was wide spread. This is so dangerous & scary!!! I left because I have always been very strict & anti-drugs and nurses were turning to stealing & script thiefing, desperate for pain relief. Physical as well as emotional. The rate of injury is very high. I did not want to end up in a wheel chair, no job in this world is worth that!!! My courses were some of the most difficult one could attempt to take, so I didn't appreciate this ignorant clown falsely claiming nursing is easier as if it's fact. That is his ignorant opinion. Not a valid PhD if you ask me! I probably won't visit back here but I wish I knew how you happened onto here and what you plan on doing? How far did you get before quitting? I could relate with your final sentiment, that you couldn't see yourself doing it your whole life. They need to address the harassment, toxicity, pain, it's a broken system and they have the nerve to wonder why people don't want to do it anymore. I wish you blessings in your journey & May God guide you in your decisions for a successful, happy & promising future!!! The school clinical location should have been more supportive! That is what they partner for & agree to do. It's nobody's win if students walk away. It doesn't sound like an environment conducive to positive patient care and team work. This is a failure on your schools part, I am curious if you went to them with these valid concerns? I'm avoiding this channel going forward but I hope you find what you are looking for and can be happy!!! I appreciated your sharing about the frustration! I'm sorry, it's a shame since nurses are needed. A lot must change!

It is important to recognize that "difficult" is subjective. I am in a unique position because I have degrees in journalism and computer science. Obviously, the coursework for CS is generally considered much more difficult than journalism's (and that is a correct assessment). However, people really underestimate social skills.
In my journalism courses, I constantly had to initiate conversations with strangers, many of whom were less than happy to speak with me. Many of my CS classmates told me they could never do that. During a journalism internship in Africa, I had to interview people in one of the worst slums in the world and soldiers carrying machine guns.
Basically, I am saying that there are difficult aspects of every major. Also, I regret neither of my degrees nor my time in college. The only thing I regret is that I took out private loans.
Yessss I changed my major from Environmental science to MIS at the right time.

What makes nursing school hard is not the material being taught. Anyone can memorize a bunch of information. What makes it hard is that you have to apply all that knowledge when testing. You are not tested on your ability to memorize information and then regurgitate it. You are caring for a patient with every question you are asked. Not only that but there is always at least 2 right answers for every question. You have to choose the best right answer for your patient and scenario. Anyone can read a book full of healthcare related facts. The question is, can you take all that information and apply it to your particular patient who has an individualized medical history of a number of other conditions which can be affected by the treatment the Dr just ordered, or cause a negative interaction with the meds the patient is already taking, which they may needs to continue taking. This is knowledge that usually becomes easy, almost intuitive, with experience. As a nursing student, you clearly don’t have that experience. As a nursing student you are taught to anticipate what the patient’s likely diagnosis is in order to anticipate what the Dr.’s orders will be. To make suggestions to new Dr.s on what to order, and to be able to question the prescriber before providing a medication or initiating an intervention that you better know is appropriate or not. Why? Because you as the nurse are the one giving the medication, or providing the intervention. So when something goes wrong, you should have known better than to follow those orders or instructions. Or you should have initiated an independent nursing intervention because you know the signs and symptoms that correspond to the diagnosis and the patient’s history, and medication list. You should have known better. Now as an NP student, pharmacology is taught by pharmacists. They are teaching right alongside the DNP teaching the clinical part but they stick to the pharmacology only because that information is above their pay grade. It’s interesting watching them try to suggest intervention and then watch the DNP make the correction right after.
Nursing requires the best answer for the current situation. Engineering is more theory based and more black and white when it comes to answers.
Going to mit and my major is aeronautics, please pray for me😭
Accounting is incredibly complex.
True it's so confusing
Funny thing u said about nurses! I graduated in 1993- back then it was extremely difficult and about 50 percent of students I started with were booted out by graduation. By later 1990’s holy moley did I see that change! And what breaks my heart is that we need to go back to the rigorous curriculum of the ‘old days’ because medicine is more challenging and requires us to know and critically analyze successfully tons of scenarios on the fly! Fast paced and patients are sicker than ever. But- supply and demand. Thus, quantity over quality!
This is the video I’ve been begging for Shane. Thanks man. I’m gonna do Accounting.

@@syrus1233 No, absolutely not if your goal is to become a software engineer. It's only worth it if there is something specific you want to be or rather, what you want to produce.
If these degrees are so easy, why doesn’t everyone pursue them? Why is the demand and salary for each somewhat inelastic?
oh they do, but you won't see most of them getting a job since they never cared about their major.
It's surprising that accounting is here, but logistics/scm isn't
Accounting is not hard.
@@johnlarkin1687 me: *looks at CPA exam passing rate: roughly 50%
I don't know man, that doesn't look easy to me, either.
@@aether3697 If we average each exam to 50% pass, the odds of passing all on the first try is 1/16. It's incredibly difficult I would know, I have passed 3 of them and it has tested my sanity, and impacted my relationships. This video really should've touched on this because the way he explained accounting made it sound more like a bookkeeper which is not where you're going to make the big money.
I'm having trouble picking a major...Would you know if there are apps or some kind of program... Software that can kinda analyze my Google accounts and suggest a major or job?
I’m soo glad my desired major (accounting) is easy and well paying.
I didn’t know accounting paid well.. isn’t the average pay like 60k?

That's the video we are needed now. Thank you, bro.❤😊
I have an Economics degree from the early 90's and it is not that easy of a degree. Nowhere as easy as Accounting or Finance.
Shane what’s your thoughts on cyber security and can you rank cyber security,it management for business, management information systems and accounting from best to worst that has great work life balance flexibility and pay increase and is non technical and ez to get in like you said???
I am a registered nurse. I make 200k a year with lots of OTs and benefits 🎉
Good stuff!
Nursing school difficulty depends on the school and the instructors which vary from state to state. Preceptors and trainers at hospitals vary in skill and attitudes making training easier or harder for the student. With all that being said, Engineering school is harder than Nursing school. Nurses probably work harder to make the same money that engineers do. An Engineer can probably pass the academic portion of Nursing school but may lack the practical skills or clinical skills.
Can you do a video on Forensics major? I'm planning to go into it and theres barely any videos about it. Thank you!
Forensics is too specific IMO, getting a general degree might be better

@shane hummus, can you please make a video about project management as a career and if it's worth it
I was lost but after watching your videos and researching I’ve decided on majoring in MIS but I applied undeclared to SFSU and SJSU I’m stuck between wich one to go because one is in Silicon Valley and the other is also in a good tech and business wise position
SJSU is better for tech, I’m transferring to SFSU for CS after I’m done with CC cuz I can just commute.
Nobody cares. You need to shine in a tech interview. Get your credentials and move on, no guarantees.
Not furiously typing, absolutely adore your channel. Even if it's one of the "easiest" medical degrees, probably inappropriate to be on a "easiest" college majors with high pay video. However, the quality of nursing programs can vary WILDLY, even BSNs (currently pursuing). We can agree to disagree though, once again, your channel is awesome!!!
"autistically studied" lol im autistic and I can confirm that these videos are special interest level obsession 😆
I love shane hummus but I have to say accounting is NOT an easy major. Difficulty is subjective but from what I have seen most people struggle.
🤣🤣On gawd, especially when you get into your upper level classes
I agree with you how accounting is definitely not an easy major. A lot of people struggle with accounting. A lot of people change majors from accounting to business administration due to accounting being too difficult. The CPA exam has a reputation for being one of the most difficult exams a person can take.
A lot of people struggle with accounting since accounting is a major that's extremely technical, involves a lot of applying knowledge and concepts, involves knowing and understanding a lot of rules, understanding exceptions to lots of rules, exceptions to the exceptions, etc.
Accounting has a reputation for being a hard major, but most people think engineering, physics, and math are harder majors than accounting. Most people think accounting is the hardest business major.
If you guys are specifically looking for easier degrees I would say this list isn't it. It's easy, if you have the ability to get a doctorate. All these are fairly rigorous is comparison to the typical "easy" degrees at an undergraduate level.
I am considering taking on a nursing career due to my current job in a hospital thank you for info
What do in hospital if you don't mind I just started my associate in healcare administration and I am too confuse.
Surprised to see that Business Management is not there in the list
accounting isnt an easy major, shouldve swapped it out with Supply Chain Management
Supply chain management jobs are basically inexistent
Yea but i dont wanna work at a workhouse im sick of the supply chain
It's easier than Economics and Statistics any day
Easiest no degree high pay job, i understand nothing is easy got my eyes on IT, truck diving, or sales, anyone can add to this oh cant forget plumbing, hvac, electrician, did i miss anything?
Omg I am so relieved you said nursing is easy. I want to be a nurse anesthetist lol.
My job has a direct billing program for college and im looking into cyber security as a profession so that's the major I chose.
I’m a doctor and medicine is hard and life time journey
None of these majors sound particularly easy.
Bro Shane I love your channel but these degrees are not easy lol. They are not rocket science but they are not easy by any means. Please don't become a click bait channel... this one was very questionable
Nothing in life is easy and he also explained it. You cannot just sit and earn a lot hard work is always require
A lot of what he says is questionable
As a 31 year old Freshman with a menial labor job, I am asked if I think this or that age is too old for college. 😅
Well... Im 31 and the current retirement age is 67 with some politicians always trying to raise it to 70+.
I would rather invest in a practical degree than spend 30-50 more years doing jobs that have no fulfillment intellectually, spiritually, or provide a sense of pride.
There are many honorable occupations that do not require a degree. It comes down to what will fulfill you for decades.
How about a video on logistics? According to BLS it’s an in demand field. Also, how about HIM since you did a video promoting this degree at WGU.
I think easy college majors with high pay are business administration, sports management, marketing, criminal justice, communications, instructional technology, and computer networking.
how is criminal justice a high paying degree ?
@@Tristan-hw1dx Great question. A lot of people with criminal justice degrees get jobs such as prison warden, FBI agent, police captain, police sergeant, police lieutenant, cybersecurity agent, cybersecurity analyst, private investigator, etc which are high paying jobs.
Even though having a criminal justice degree definitely helps in landing jobs such as prison warden, FBI agent, police captain, cybersecurity analyst, private investigator, etc, a person doesn't have to have a degree in criminal justice in order to get those kinds of jobs.
@@bikerboy9010 my mom and dad got a criminal justice degree and are broke as a joke. Im almost in hs what would you recommended I major in. I don’t care about fun I just want to make a lot of money
@@Tristan-hw1dx Sorry to hear about your parents being broke. High paying jobs in the criminal justice field such as prison warden, FBI agent, police captain, police sergeant, police lieutenant, cybersecurity agent, cybersecurity analyst, private investigator, forensics analyst, etc would be great jobs for your parents to apply to if they're interested in those kinds of jobs.
Great college majors where there's lots of high paying jobs in the field are engineering, computer science, I.T., accounting, finance, business administration, marketing, sports management, construction management, etc. I don't recommend majoring in Philosophy, Political Science, Gender Studies, Women Studies, Feminism Studies, etc since there's little to no jobs in those kinds of fields. I recommend majoring in history if someone is interested in being a Social Studies teacher, but I don't recommend majoring in history if someone isn't interested in teaching because there's not a lot of jobs outside of teaching where you use history skills. Majors such as Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Nursing, etc are majors where there's lots of jobs in those fields, but you often need at least a Master's degree in these fields in order to advance and work your way up the corporate ladder in these fields. People need at least a Master's in fields such as Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, etc if they want to make decent money in these fields and not be stuck at entry level jobs in those fields.

That Wojak story you showed up was an inspiration from Hamza’s Jeffrey vs Adonis

How hard do you guys think is CS compared to IT? Can you scale them out of 10 (ex: IT=4/10 , CS=9/10)
I found IT easier since I can take Calculus 1 and Discrete Math to fulfill the math requirements but CS has more math class. IT is just CS lite.
IT is usually easier but some employers view it as a CS dropout major unfortunately. Both degrees will get you to 6 figures though if you get internships that are higher than helpdesk.
