Ok i hate to be that guy but idk if the thumbnail is *it* man. The movie has so many amazing shots and i don't think the thumbnail represents that. (he fixed it)
Great video though. I agree that Ultraman Rising is a very "all rounder" film and i think it helped. I'm seeing a lot of new viewers loving the film and got curious about Ultraman in general because of that. Plus, just having an American made Toku (ish) film that doesn't suck is a blessing itself.

Surprised on how mature and well-thought out this review is👏and also since we're talking about Chinese IP (Dragon force), am i the only one crazy enough to think that the character design and overall art style direction is something like a Chinese 3d animation company would come up. I dunno maybe just me 😂

I've never seen Dragon Force but I see the similarities lol 😂 but Ultraman Rising I really liked the movie, to me its probably the best western (US) adaption I've seen.
Lol, I wouldn't even bother watching dragon force. But Ultraman Rising is definitely a must watch

I really loved the movie, it was cute and had values that both kids and adults can learn from. Only nit picks I have is that the movie can still pretty much work by replacing the ultraman characters/kaiju, wished it focused a bit more on the human characters from the KDF more regarding their feelings on the kaijus and Ultraman. Could be due to budgeting reasons or simplicity for the family, but I guess the movie serves what it does. Enjoyable for all, young, old and new fans
I thought it was fine without needing to focus too much on the KDF, I reckon we didn't need to know more other than what his main goal was
I heard some where that the movie started as a Ultraman homage but then they got Tsuburaya's approval so it's a legit Ultraman movie now.

The biggest issue with this movie is why ultraman is in there it makes it more confusing not to mention say movie is good when thing to be ultraman and not an American superhero thing
The thing that that annoying are first at the very start you know ultraman hole thing of balancing the life's of monsters,aliens and humans are cool but you know what harder parenting sure also how can he transform when he let Neronga die and is so full of himself and on top of that they introduced m78 when they didn't border to introduce that he is an alien
I think dragon force rise of the Ultraman is better
