I think, in far side virtual, the ipad sucking up your attention might be on purpose to represent how the virtual world is becoming more colorful and enticing than the real world which is becoming more drab. I could be wrong idk but it seems like a vapor wave aesthetic type of message to me
dam you are absolutely correct thank you for opening my eyes
This gave me some good inspiration for clothing designs, thanks!
hell yeah dude unleash that creativity
Thank you for great work. Wish there are more vaporwave related channels. Thank you again!!
thanks for checking out my vids i'm glad you enjoyed em :)

ABBBBBSOLUTLEELY friend
Chönk......CHÖNKYYYYYY🤌🏼🤌🏼 this is A1 SAUCE. Noice critique skills.
Greco-Romanesque aesthetics fit in , I feel, because of the mentalities of higher thinking and expressionism coupled with humanism that decorated those Greek and Roman eras, philosophy especially was in high gear. Leucippus and Democritus essentially grounded Materialism (which in my opinion has deep roots with Vaporwave, it helps connects things, like the whole 80s era Japan during there electronic product financial boom) this vid is awesome, helps ya understand that Vaporwave is a lot bigger pool we can all dive into.
oh my goodness that was a whole history lesson thanks for the comment!
are we not going to talk about how pretty that view is from outside the window ;-;
8:35 the funny thing is the person behind esc (vektroid) was a talented graphic designr lol
Love the emphasis of「AESTHETICS」
Keep Vaporwave boppin'!
This is the content I'm here for! Great work! 😎
thanks dude 🌀
I love your videos
thanks man!
you uploaded this on my bday. fr you’re so cool
happy birthday dude 🎂
Nice vid
I like the casual #AnthonyFantano, that seems like a decent strategy
yes
nice work Chönkers.
thank you long time subscriber
This is a great and important video. This made me think about vaporwave alot more than I had. I learned some things about vaporwave that I wish I hadn't but not from this video. I will continue to enjoy vaporwave as presented through this channel, but I'm not sure I can go on. I think I only listened to future funk anyway.
hell yeah dude it's not for everyone but i will continue to romanticize vaporwave so there's always more stuff coming for u to enjoy
Good job kid
I swear if you put blank banshee 's album cover less than b tier I'm coming to your house and showing you troll face rule 34
Aaaaaa I was waiting for you to point out how the twin towers were in the picture on floral shoppe and you didn't. I really want to know your interpretation on that because my dumbass likes overanalyzing vaporwave to the point it is a special interest right now.
Great video btw, it makes me understand and appreciate the concepts and meanings of Vaporwave more, and it helps to see someone else appreciate it beyond just "slowed down music."
Also, I want to provide a defense for REDEFINING THE WORKPLACE. I'm not sure if you saw on the cover but the structure is either missing important functional elements (how do cars access the upper parking area?) or elements are out of place/not where they should be (One of the cars is literally parked between a tree and another car, which are both sandwiched between two patches of grass. How is the car supposed to get out, how are the cars supposed to get in without driving on the grass? It's even worse if you think about how usually that ground is elevated compared to the actual parking lot because now they are forced to curb check themselves to get in/out.)
Not to spoil too much, but these little details actually reflect the album's music where it is this perfect capitalist system being torn apart and exposed for how empty and psychologically torturous it is. I listen to this album a fair amount so I wanted to do it some justice, I felt like you did that album dirty (joking).
Again, great video, I eagerly await the continuation including one of my favorite Vaporwave genres, Mallsoft. 👍
oh my goodness thank you for this comment that was some deft analysis i definitely did not zoom in enough to even see the cars in the first place, will keep this in mind when i make the next vaporwave video :) hope u stick around mdude 🌀
@ holy shit you responded quickly, yes I recently found your channel because of your "how to be vaporwave aesthetic" video and I enjoy your vids so far. 😊
Also, what are your thoughts on the detail of the twin towers being in the floral shoppe cover? Or will that make an appearance on your next ranking album covers video?
@@vaportheowl glad you're liking em! & that is a very interesting detail, there's something eerie about aestheticizing a tragedy by putting it on a vaporwave cover & the fact that i didn't even notice just goes to show you how vapidly we consume stuff on the internet, honestly super ahead of its time considering it was released in 2011
@@vaportheowl theres also some commentary here about the way that 80s capitalist utopian world eventually fell apart coming from someone looking back on this years later, idk theres a lot of layers man
@ Vaporwave is like an onion
Fun fact: esc is actually vektroid!
Chuck Person/Daniel Lopatin is pretty good.
I love his stuff.
Same for James Ferraro.
22:58 i think because 80s japan is the era of economic miracle of japan that causing a lot of Capitalism and consumerism. where in that era, japan has product a lot of electronics, movie tape, musics and Video games. i got this knowledge from vaporwave aestethic theory video on this youtube video: czcams.com/video/9LQNeLwVaK8/video.html
tremendous you can read some chinese characters
No hate to the cover of NIGHT DRIVE, but World Class did it better 💋💅
