I rewatched off topic and then immediately went to watch this. I started laughing within the first 30 seconds of this show. Michael totally looks like a dad, chaperoning the prom hahahaha

I'm aware. Haven't seen that one. As I said, this is without a doubt one of the best podcasts I've ever seen. Ever made? Who knows? Different statement entirely. I'm just going off of what I've seen personally. And anyways comparing an Elon Musk interview with the AH boys taking on the Always Open format seems like trying to compare apples to oranges, doesn't it?

Michael is such a devoted family and you can feel his love for his wife and kids. And seeing Geoff who is somewhat a mentor to him be proud of him is so heartwarming. These people are so genuinely good and I’m proud to be a part of a community they built because the people who are a part of this community are just as good. I love these people and I love that I live in Austin because just walking by them randomly and saying hi. It doesn’t happen too frequently but it happens and it’s awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. It's nice to hear the guys have a genuine chat about their experiences. The episode didn't even feel like an hour, would love to see this again.
This was a very pleasant episode. A direct contrast to Barbara's and Mariel's Off Topic, which, although entertaining, gave me a lot of anxiety.

honestly, this is such a special episode. You see the boys are human and they are talking about real things and how life changes. It is awesome that they open up and talk about this stuff.

The first discussion question amazes me. More specifically, Michael and Geoffs answers to it. Moments like that really ground them in my mind, remind me that they're people with problems worries and lives outside of their jobs. Very few companies and entertainment stuff show you the human side of people. To often we forget who these people are besides what is in our screens. I love these people.
Geoff is such a great person. I highly respect him.
He's just so honest with his flaws and mistakes. You can't help but learn some lessons from his experiences because he always sees a way to move forward without forgetting his past.
Today on always open, the achievement boys open up their emotions.
Gavin and Michael's faces not pasted on top of the faces in the intro really destroyed my belief
that was the only thing that disapointed me.

I really enjoyed this especially with Micheal and Geoff talking about being parents and good partners. You could sense the emotion coming out when they really got into it. It was very honest and heart warming.
So far... every version of Michael I’ve seen has been great. Classy Michael, angry Michael, fighty Michael and standard Michael “AKA: munchies Michael”

How relatable this podcast is... Is just kinda jarring. But this is my favourite podcast they've ever done.
I REALLY like this episode. Hearing the different experiences from them all, especially Michael was amazing. It was interesting hearing them speak about their personal life and learning how much they have grown over the years of watching them.
Michael has truly become a gent.

It could be the restraint or something but I just want to put it out there that I do appreciate how genuine everyone is on this one. Geoff really has been impressing me as of late with is sobriety and attitude and wisdom. Jeremy and Michael gave some genuine, wholesome answers too.
Heartfelt and serious discussion from these guys is something I didn't know I needed in my life.

Hearing them talk about there children/family makes my heart melt. It’s such a different side then what we usually see. Side note you guys think shaving down there is bad for you imagine the stigma for woman to be completely bare down there.

well you can't really plan off topic to be fair. you can just hope for drunk chaos
the off topic one with the gals seemed like made from AH fans that they only see the destruction,loudness and madness. AH does behave like this, but not always in the podcast. I'd say off topic is actually pretty chill, giving the fact that it has AH. sure, there is madness,loudness,drunkness and destruction, but not to that level, and every single episode to where "it's the essence of the podcast" this is why I agree with you, always open with AH was far better executed

@@WhisperingWinds0 remember that this was recorded first; Michael straight up TOLD the girls that that was the essence of Off Topic. So even if not all Off Topics are like that, that was what the AO crew was going for
@@WhisperingWinds0 yeah that's what I'm saying. AH is like a controlled chaos. I get Always Open we're told to capture the essence of the show but the last half of it was impossible to watch. There were like 4 conversations going on at once and Merial was screaming at the top of her lungs over all of it. I'm not saying it wasn't entertaining, it just became very hard to watch.
Jeremy felt so out of place. He’s trying his best to keep calm like the others.
28:15 : 2 years ago, on a scout camp in France, my patrol leader comforted me when I found out that my Grandad passed away. It was the hardest thing to recover from and I still get effected now.

Loved seeing a different side of everyone! This is one of the best podcasts I've watched
I am so proud of these boys and how far they've come. Geoff talking about his pizza oven and Michael bringing the kids over. I love having seen them grow through the years and become such mature and spectacular adults while also being raucous and hilarious. They did such an amazing job with this and I am so amazed with all of them.
