I think with no gear the inf skin will obviously do much better - however when you factor in that most inf gear is defense oriented, the city skin actually loses substantial value. I’d be interested to see this same test with full gear on the marches, preferably an eternal empire set with at least 4 pieces on.
I think gear testing is worthwhile! I still wonder if the loss of attack still will have the same result though

Although I am still torn if the 5% health is better than 10% defense. I'd love to see a test comparing the two

10 defense is better in some cases. Maybe not if not using karuak and blue shield. But overall not worth it for the small diference. Maybe if only using inf in open field, but thats a bad idea.

It would have been a lot better to include a clear and concise table summary to recap the results of base vs twilight falls vs st peters basilica, you can use averages of the battle reports in the tables

Brother, if you want to test nicely, then you have to test infantry vs infantry, but when it comes to these two city skins, it's obvious which one is better. I say this as infantry main.
Believe it or not- most people thought twilight would be better!
Btw I didn’t use guan vs guan for two reason, one guan has variation in his skills which I wanted to avoid. 2, you are attacking cavs as an infantry primary, thus the expectation is cavs should lose!
It's a very simple conclusion...its a 20% of stats swing for infantry. Vs 5% skill damage that only happens every 6-7 seconds.
I actually love this summarization, the value of normal damage and counter attack often gets lost in the skill damage obsession
@ShappyGaming I mean I get it ..skill damage is the fastest way to get big Chunks of a marches power to disappear but it's only 5%...even spread over 5 marches (that aren't infantry) that would be 25% total and only to the skill damage. However, the 10% attack is all the time and is factored into the skill damage as well. 2 or more infantry marches, and it is a terrible skin to use, in my opinion.

nice video, i'm main infantry player and now also running a cav march and i'm thinking of switching from vikings to ottoman but i don't know if its worth it. what should i do, i don't think there is a testing video for that.
If you are an infantry primary with only one march- I would stick with the infantry main civilization! Also the counterattack buff is nice from Vikings.
I would only switch if I have two or less infantry marches I am fielding! Glad you enjoyed!!
Hello, I use 2 infantry marches, 2 archers and 1 cavs, which skin do you recommend?
Which marches do you favor? You lose archer benefit from the infantry skin

@@younobI say Infantry city skin with Cav minus stat so the archer won't be hurt

Hey! You actually only need the first commander to be level 60!
Secondary commanders skills apply not their talents.
Was this done in HK or kvk (looks HK)? Kvk gives a boatload of attack stats and after a certain point, the increase (or decrease) of attack stats starts to not matter. I think you are dismissing twilight falls a little too early at this point
This is home kd! Agreed that in kvk you get a ton of attack- the thing I’d remember is that attack does contribute to skill damage. Will be making a video on that too
