For Hunter mains, idk if anything will ever feel as easy as classy restoration.
Speak on this. I got Duality and Prophecy done when classy restoration. Made things a joke.
Classy restoration was so fun for branching out and trying Hunter builds that normally wouldn't have the survivability to take into content with harder hitting enemies.
classy was crazy, but its never been easier than now to solo duality. simply becuase of our options weapon wise and the new aspects trivializing what used to be the pinnacle of difficult solos.

Soloing activities in Destiny is so much fun. I have never been happen to convince my friends to get into Destiny, so I got into soloinh activities. The first activity I soloed was Tree of probabilities way back when nightfalls had timers. The joy I got from that moment got me into trying solo everything I could.
Haha that's awesome! Love that strike. I solo'd it too with contraverse warlock when oppressive darkness was a thing (the first artifact I believe). I remember deleting the boss before he TP'd. Was very satisfying. Love how we all start somewhere. I really started enjoying solo content when legend and master lost sectors got introduced.
Same here, I could never get my friends to get into destiny also. Maybe we can be friends.

@@DjDATZ both have become much easier than they used to be. So I’d say soloing list sectors is like a 2/10 now and soloing dungeons is maybe a 4 or 5/10. Really depends on the dungeon
kudos to you for getting into the game solo, honestly. if my friends hadn't pulled me in i never would've played it past the original red war campaign, the game is nearly impossible to figure out on your own
Solar titan with precious scars makes all content feel way easier to stay alive in.

@223ndog perhaps. I don't play class against class antics. I run them all. I know what's good. Solar is a really close call between Hunter and Titan. They're really pretty similar, afterall.

went from Warlock main to Hunter main to playing Titan now I’m working on having 10 META Loadouts for each class PVE/PVP
@@drewdimusmaximus9436 assassin's cowl does well. losing aggro and you can get heal by finishing or melee. during boss damage, switch to Celestial Nighthawk! I just finished solo Prophecy with this build. I've done two out of three Warlord with it as well.😁
working on getting every dungeon during this season because of how overpowered we are right now, so you making these guides have been really helpful. Got Spire and Warlords Ruin, now working on Duality.
Duality is the second hardest to ghosts IMO. But if you did spire and warlord's you got this! Glad the guides helped! That was my goal. Long season with an OP artifact. It is a good time to get the emblems!
@@itztizzle Hell yeah! Also, with the advice you gave about not killing the psion until damage to extend the timer, I'm able to very easily two phase gahlron using dragons breath and blade barrage. So thanks for that because I had no idea!

This is the most supportive hardcore player video I've seen in a while. Thank for the vid! Offhandedly dropping that you've solo'ed every dungeon multiple times, yet turning around and genuinely encouraging other guardians to try it themselves, plus reminding people that they should feel proud of their achievements, are such nice things to say. Last year I stopped attempting solo flawlessing stuff because dungeon boss health bars got so massive that I couldn't imagine how long each attempt would be, but this vid is inspiring me to give it try again!
Thank you! My biggest advice is to solo it first. Like purposely die on bosses a few times to get used to the mechanics and your damage strategy. That way when you go to solo flawless, it all feels second nature. It may be a bit time consuming, but it makes it sooooo much easier when you actually give flawless an honest attempt

I appreciate the good points throughout the entire video, I recently soloed my first even dungeon the other day as a solar titan aswell, it was the spire of the watcher dungeon, took me a little over an hour but it felt amazing, and finally I did finish off the last few triumphs for the title on top of that aswell :) I will definitely be trying to solo more dungeons however, once you've done your first it's hard to put it down not only is it a fun challenge but like you said yourself it makes you a much better player as a whole aswell.
You are a major reason why I started soloing things in destiny and I just got my last dungeon done. I must have watched you ghost of the deep video 10 times and I was finally able todo it. Thanks for making these videos dude keep up the good work.

Did my first solo dungeon this season, wasn't the prettiest shattered throne run but I definitely felt like I learned a lot during the clear that I can use in the next one.
The fist dungeon I solo’d that wasn’t Shattered throne was Ghosts of the deep in season of the deep. I did it in 16 hours almost solely bc of the final boss’s health. I think I started her around 3 or 4 hrs. But I beat it. Except, in the middle of the fight, I got bungie’d. I got black screened then returned to the dungeon. I wasn’t kicked, I never went to orbit or title screen, just black screened with contacting and eventually put back in with 0 ammo of all kinds. I didn’t think this would count as me leaving the level but it did. And my first real solo dungeon in 16 hours didn’t give me the triumphs for it. I haven’t tried solo’ing since (I want to I just don’t have the time)

'soloing has never been easier' will forever and ever be a straight up lie because of craftening. There will never, EVER, be an easier way to solo a dungeon than during the craftening. Raids, dungeons, you name it. Everything was easy

Courtesian, 1k and sleeper blasted everything to smithereens.
Also the solar hunter right after solar 3.0 release and the season mod where using ur class abiloty gave u restoration x2. Could literally tank every dungeon boss (excluding wipe mechanics ofc)

@filipgasic2642 good for u, but cheating is still cheating. And some people care about it. Cheating is possible i most games, including irl games like card and board games. Just bcs its part of it/possible doesn't make it justified for others.
Getting a soloflawless dosent give u anything other than proving to urself that that's something u can do. Ur giving "cheating in solitaire" kinda energy.

Just wanted to say when I saw this video yesterday it inspired me to do my first solo dungeon and I actually did it! It was only the shattered throne and I got my ass kicked in the final boss room a handful of times but I finally was able to do it! I had managed to stay flawless until the 2nd boss and I had a death there bc I was doing the wish ender boss too and it was alot to juggle but overall I was so happy with myself
Congrats! That's why I made this video. To hopefully inspire people to try it! My first was Shattered Throne also way back when. I died a ton on the ogre boss until I got a good strat down. Was a great feeling when I finally beat it and got the emblem! Way to go! We all start somewhere!

My first solo dungeon was GoA during the craftening. I was only able to beat it because of the cracked Ammit I had. It made me feel an intense desire to beat them without a cheat weapon. Since then I've solo'd GoA, Pit of Heresy, Prophecy, and Warlord's Ruin without any cheeses. I don't really have friends to play with, so soloing is practically my only option.
I would encourage anyone to solo and like he said running master lost sectors is great practice. You learn so much by not depending on others to carry you. You have no choice but to find what works for you. And it’s just fun!
with the new Into the Light weapons like the new Falling Guillotine, I imagine that'll help immensely
4:36 you mention to start with the older ones, obviously this is right, but if new, it's worth expanding that there is an almost linear increase in difficulty / boss health from Shattered Throne to Ghosts, so picking the earlier ones will be a much better introduction point.
Would love to see a video explaining all the workings of sola within each subclass. Call it a comprehensive deep dive - Mastering Sola, so to speak. Especially with sola being the go-to. The workings between sola Fragments, the complimentary Exotic armour, Exotic weapons and their catalysts, plus the weapon perks that work with sola.

Pre-nerf lorely with solar 3.0 was the easiest for titans IMO, but this is a really good video and helped me a lot.
I started playing Modern D2 last may. I figured Id try and solo the wish ender quest a few months ago. Ended up SFing Shttered Throne on my second try and went "Yeah ok this is dope". Ive notched WArlords, Pit and Grasp now. Going to try the remaining 4 before Final shape comes out.

The only solo flawless dungeon I've ever struggled with was Pit of Heresy back in 2019. Chamber of Suffering was a pain in the arse back then.

I generally solo Pit whenever it's in featured and I need the free gear because of how free it is with the power creep. I also run my first attempt at the dungeons solo because the experience is very similar to my day 1 raid attempts. As a arc hunter main I also have a good feedback loop on healing and ad clear, so I can tailor my loadouts to damage with just a single weapon dedicated to ad clear for when I can't just punch everything to death. The solos are always fun but I just don't have the time to do them anymore, and with the damage meta shifting more and more towards stacking extremely tightly timed damage cycles and methods on top of each other, I find myself at a severe disadvantage in my solo attempts because I lack the drive and time to learn and practice the damage methods to the point where I can cycle them without thinking

I was close to soloing the deep dungeon and the one with caital, both times i got disconnected so i gave up. I'll wait till i get recluse and mountaintop then i'll try it again ;)
That's cool and all but as a new player I'm happy already if I manage to do a lost sector solo...
That’s good for a new player don’t let the veterans tell you it’s easy because it’s not. I soloed all the older dungeons and can say it’s a lot of time, focus, and patience. Knowing exactly when things are spawning in and not trying to 3 phase every boss is key, if it takes you 5-6 phases that’s fine.

I'm in a bit of a unique situation as I, for health reasons, can't play loneger than 90 minutes to 2 hours max per sitting before I have to take a break of at least 2 hours. it would really be great if this game would respect players time more and note everything would be a bullet sponge. Thankfully I seem to be one of a small number of players that actually do like Gambit 🙂
I haven't been around Destiny since The Witch Queen. After I finished the expansion, from then on, I missed out on every season. It has sadly become heavily monetized, I can't be asked to buy every single dungeon key. (Edit: Also, my laptop being a potato doesn't help at all too LMAO)
But the armor set of Warlord's Ruin looks so good. 😭
soloing vog up until gatekeepers is a fun challenge, definitely worth a try.
How do you do the opening solo? I have soloed those encounters but thought you needed at least three for the opening.
@@Captain_Kermit all you gotta do is shoot the heads off the minotaurs, that way they chase you instead of capturing the plates. So just do 1 plate at a time, kill the first Minotaur, capture the plate, make the next one for that plate headless, then the same for the other 2, then just let em chase you until spire is built. Also it’s useful to know minotaurs can only capture the plates they belong to, and you don’t need to stay in the plates after you capture them.
Do dungeons scale to your light level? I figured all dungeons would be much easier getting closer and closer to the end of this long season if your level is climing.
Only warlord’s ruin and perhaps ghosts of the deep. Because they came out during lightfall. The rest are capped lower
I feel unstoppable in everything else I play in, but get one shotted by a vandal in a dungeon.
I’ve always played super casual, but now would love to start trying harder things. Would farming lost sectors be better to start with then going straight for the solo dungeons?

Start with whatever you want. I did solo dungeons. The. Solo exotic missions. Then solo master lost sectors. Then solo GMs
The craftening weekend was by far the easiest
and if you don't count that, then particle deconstruction was the next best

I just slogged through a three hour solo blind run of Warlords ruin yesterday on warlock, and I realized afterwards that I DIDN'T APPLY SOLO OPERATIVE AAAAGGGGHHHHH THAT WOULD HAVE BUMPED ME TO A TWO PHASE ON OGRE
Shattered Throne is definitely the easiest dungeon to start for solo challenge as well as Pit of Heresy. The bosses don't have much HP and it's relatively easy to 1 face them because the mechanics aren't that hard. Grasp is a little bit longer, Duality is a bit harder than Grasp and Ghost of the Deep and Warlord's Ruin are definitely tough with Spire of the Watcher being a little bit easier. I'd say GOTD is the hardest dungeon to solo, especially the middle boss Echtar, which has quite a bit of HP and there are tons of enemies around, while the wizard at the end can be easy to deal with as long as you damage her from the 'head' location and not the others so you don't get swarmed by many thralls, acolytes and knights.
The hardest thing for me in new dungeons is getting a key to play them 😂
You still need the skill to finish them! You can watch all the build videos you want, but if you lack in skills, it's never going to happen!

One day I want to preach the power of using a glaive with karnestein which allowed me to accidentally solo flawless prophecy as my first one. Big flex on my friends.

I tell you what, Skyburner's oath on a Solar build is pretty nasty. Use incendiary nades to trigger ignitions.
any solar weapon applies scorch on critical hits if you use the artifact so you dont need skyburner's

After watching this video, I am going to quit playing D2. I find legend solo lost sectors to be very hard. I'm glad that the game is super easy for you though.
If it makes you feel better, I used to suck at this game and I only got better because I kept challenging myself. I took about 7 hours to solo my first dungeon (shattered throne). And many more hours trying to solo flawless pit of heresy. But the more I pushed myself, the better I got. Took me like 5 hours to solo flawless the outbreak perfected mission. I then did solo legend and master lost sectors to slowly improve. Then solo nightfall strikes. Legend. Then master. And now I do solo GMs. Quit it your aren't enjoying it, by all means. But I found more joy in the game the more I pushed myself to get better and improve.

Do you build-craft? What's your light level? Do you watch Legend and Master lost sector runs? They're great for learning the lost sector :)
@@James-km7yz I play with a disability due to a brain injury. Watching videos doesn't do a whole lot because of short term memory loss. It's kind of a bummer that the D2 community as a whole expects everyone to be able to solo raids and gm nightfalls with ease and if you don't then you're just a dogshit person.

During the craftening I completely soloed legendary witch queen, so idk if this is the easiest time
Is it possible to do these builds that you use in your other videos with no loadout swaps? Personally I'm not a fan of doing them, simply because some dungeons don't really have an adequate safe zone to do so, and I see a lot of the pro players doing real quick swaps in the midst of getting shot. Not something I'm confident enough in doing without a safe zone (Example being the water tunnels during Simmumah in GotD)
it is def possible. Just not optimized. I have been soloing dungeons long before weapon loadouts were introduced a year ago

Depends on the GM or the dungeon. I would say solo ghosts of the deep is probably the hardest solo activity outside of raids. Solo light blade GM is probably closest comparable run.

Solo GM's because there is the threat of dying. We are so strong now, that you don't really have much to fear in terms of staying alive. Depending on your build of course. So as long as you can multitask and handle the mechanics, then solo dungeons are pretty easy. In my warlord's ruin attempts day one, I died to stuff like freezing on the ogre boss because I wasn't paying attention. Or the melee glitch on the scorn guys on final boss. Dying to mechanics. Not enemies.
I did all my solo flawless dungeon attempts first try this season (after running them on different characters to work out strats mind you, but I did for that my guide videos, didn't really need the practice). Where I die a lot in solo GM attempts because just one mistake can get you killed pretty easily. So that is my opinion. I miss when dungeons were challenging not just mechanically, but survivability wise as well. I would say soloing a master dungeon would be on par with soloing a GM. But it would be longer thanks to big boss health pools.

Solo flawless Master Ghost I think is one of the hardest things to do Period. If not on master dungeons are wayy easier to solo flawless in my opinion
The only dungeon that i actually solo'd was spire, which i absolutely hated.. I tried to solo prophecy so many times in the past but i just couldn't do it due to the first boss swooping me off the map over and over and over...
And here i thought the weapon crafting was broken again

I've honestly found dungeons more annoying to solo nowadays.
Back when Prophecy first released was when I felt at my strongest to solo dungeons, used to solo those dungeons just for the fun of it rather than for loot.
But that's probably because the newer dungeons are just filled with bullet-sponge bosses and instant-kill traps all over the place.
back in my time people used to solo only with Ammit the exotic assalt mega sniper shotgun granade rifle
Yea I can't. I managed to solo the Dreaming City one, but since I only play a hunter and my right hand is fubar'd, the others are just pain. Tried every one, but 💀 takes me way too easily.
I started to play this game in the end of season 20, now i'm rank 10 but i don't have any solo dungeon emblem, maybe this is the time for it because i feel bore with the game now.

Shattered Throne in my opinion you don’t have to go Flawless unless you want the Triumph but no extra reward like the other Dungeons

I've died 6 times on the spire of the watcher big harpy boss
5 of which being knocked off the tower
That dungeon is straight up bullshit and super unfun to solo. Wow now they have to push me off the map to be able to kill my overpowered character and have to spawn in supplicants in masses to scratch my armor. And there isn’t a fireteam size boss health modifier. Like some of the dungeon bosses are literally raid bosses. After duality the dungeons seem to be only created around teams. Yeah it’s so fun to 5 phase the endboss with ten minutes to reach a dmg phase. Change my mind.
If it makes you feel any better I solo’d spire of the watcher during the craftening weekend. I died 3 times to the rotating fans after the harpy boss

Not because of lacking damage, I got overwhelmed by ads because even though I had the damage, I didn't have any AOE damage
@@kylzepolaczkowaty2197 Thats what many youtubers forget in their build guides. Raw dmg only helps in bossfights. Anywhere else aoe dmg is almost always the play. Thats why my stasis build performs perfectly in gms.

Celestial Nighthawk, turns Marskman Golden Gun into one shot, and it stacks with Radiant and the debuffs. Used to stack with Surges but not anymore

Never been easier? Sir there was a weekend where I was shooting 11 grenades per shot out of a heavy GL.
The way you describe how dungeons and gms feel much easier after soloing is how I feel after doing a bunch of master raids, going back to regular raids is really easy but lfg wise its much harder because people want to heavy min/max everything and think normal raiding is hard gameplay wise but when you do master most people know what to do and have good loadouts and I somehow find my master raid runs to be faster than my normal raid runs
The issue I have with soloing dungeons is how long it takes.

Soloing content would be more fun if the new dungeon bosses didn't have health rivaling raid bosses, and encounters didn't take forever to get to damage, I'm fine with one or the other, but both feels obnoxious, GOTD is definitely the worse offender for this, and WR feels in a better place, hope the dungeons keep going in the direction WR set up
as someone who played one dungeon once (with the help of two great players) i will never player one again or try raids. it's way too difficult :(
