    Just because you use two hands it is not a two handed knot . In reality two handed knot requires active participation of two hands. In yours one hand remains passive. Further you actually tied a strange version of one handed granny knot and not a reef knot. You should have done more research, involved in more real world patient scenarios where you actually got to tie a knot before making educational videos on CZcams. Read Basic surgical techniques by RM Kirk to know the basics of knot tying.

      He is actually using a (left) one hand tying technique. Granny knots are good if combined with square knots. The first ones allow you to tighten the wound and secure it with the second. Aberdeen knot is also another good knot tying technique
