Migratory mammals follow the sun & the changing to a certain season triggers travelling back to their place origin.. in this case northern hemisphere and winter solstice, rebirth of the sun, as key to initiating next phase of fertility …? People say they feel called / a pull to return to place origin “to visit their ma” but really may be to trigger next level of maturity fertility-wise ?
It used to be this way. Back when pagans would celebrate the winter solstice and the return of the sun. But I don't think it's a big thing now as survival is a very different concept now compared to back then.
I can tell you I have a constant pull. An invisible and taut string. The tug never goes away any time of the year. Not Christmas related. A hope, need, wish to feel like I belong somewhere.
