  • Today on Buckle Up, Rob reviews the 2024 KGM/Ssangyong Tivoli. This is KGM's smallest and cheapest offering in the UK, but it still packs big car tech and plenty of power.
    But can this budget crossover take on rivals including the Dacia Duster, MG ZS, Jeep Renegade, Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid, Ford Puma, VW T-Roc, Seat Arona and Skoda Kamiq?

    I have had a 2020 model and now have a 2023 both cars have had trouble with paint flaking off the wheels. after around a year old first car new wheels under warranty and now the second car has a warranty claim in that said I see it is becoming a problem with paint on car wheels but apart from that it’s a great car and we love it . Great video 👍🏻

    Always liked the old one's looks, and this is a major improvement. The Rexton seemed to have a very devoted following, they're still too rare to know much about their reliability but having the towing eye marked in bright red so it's very easy to find is a little concerning.

      The towing eye is red because it looks cool, but also so you can easily find it when off-roading and you may need a winch. Nothing to do with reliability, which always scores well on surveys in Britain.

    How is it going to survive longterm with a company that doesn’t know how to build or manage cars!

    • @BuckleUpShow
      @BuckleUpShow  Před měsícem

      The company’s been going under various names since 1954, and they’ve managed to build and send this car to us no problem at all.

      Think you might be getting yourself confused, Antony.
      VED (Vehicle Exercise Duty) is included in the ‘on the price’ of any new car. That’s essentially your road tax for the first year of ownership covered within the price of the car. After that first year, you’ll pay the basic rate of road tax that same as every new car under £40k - currently £180 a year. So it’s no more expensive than any other new car.

      @@BuckleUpShow I was going off Auto trader, that might be the case but it's not economical compared to similar cars,
