Hi Amjid, thanks for shari g. I bought one after seeing your review. I have one question: when I connect with my garmin I can only see one HR value on my connect app, is that from the watch or from the magene? If from the watch, how can I see the magene one? Thank you.
If external is connected it will show from external otherwise from watch
have you tried "HRV stress" function on forerunner 945 (or elite HRV app?) with this HR moniter? magene's previous HR moniter (H64) did not provide accrate HRV results. I am curious as the new moniter supports HRV function

Both are different inw features and technology
Chest strap HRMs rely on the heart's electrical pulse but that signal can be disrupted by static electricity from synthetic clothing, conductive sweat buildup in the strap and harsh cleaning of the strap etc.
The Armband strap relies on optical sensing of the pulsing blood flow in the arm where red blood becomes opaque to the green LED light from the opto-sensor.
Some also get a rash from the chest strap but that can also occur on the forearm from the wrist strap version
But what are the differences. Can you compare the accuracy of both of them?

No it is chest HRM
