@@maxrichards3881Lidia was announced around the time shadow of the erdtree marketing was picking up. They also just came out with the heihachi trailer so while it’s likely that marketing schedules may have had something to do with it, I’d assume that the fact bamco develops tekken has more to do with it since they only published and marketed elden ring AFAIK.
you’re probably right though since releasing anything around anything elden ring related is probably going to impact sales a little, although idk how much these communities overlap
@@maxrichards3881idk if my previous reply showed up for you (not there for me so I can’t edit it) but I checked the channel and that’s definitely not the case, considering they’ve recently marketed a good amount of products and didn’t have a hand in elden ring’s development AFAIK, while tekken is in-house.

I think the problem is the lack of characters. 1 character per season? Thats straining for anyone. I for one am glad shes back since shes my secondary, dont forget that she does have an audience. She is a new character to the series. Having dlc like marduk is more of a crime, he should be base and not dlc when it could be a cool guest character

Lidia's project is great, very good job! Mr. Harada, Bandai Namco, never listen to most gamers. As a result, many games failed because the creators, instead of focusing on their own ideas and quality, fulfilled the wishes of roaring children.
These are your games, so no one should dictate how you create your game. Of course, it's worth talking about it sometimes, but with smart players. So let the children complain that they want this or that character. Personally, I'm in favor of some characters dying or some of them achieving their goals and making room for new characters or returning in other parts.
Either way, you won't please everyone, so there's no point in trying. The most important thing is to create games with passion, because the quality will defend itself.

Come July 25th, I have a compelling reason to become invested in Tekken 8 again, and her name is Lidia Sobieska.
I have no pride, but I want to make each battle as we fight as one to be a fight to remember.
With Lidia as my secondary character, we'll fight on as purely as we can in unified fashion, win, lose, or draw.
Im so glad I can pay again for a dlc character already purchased in Tekken 7.

@@nore5888 Nah, Bruce never died, he just ducked out after the war between the Zaibatsu and G-Corp. Which is strange, considering he was Kazuya's main enforcer on the battlefield. It would be nice to see him back imo. I think he was a cool character, they just made him look so bland. Give him a fit glowup and he's all good.
