The treatment of Starscream helps show that Megatron and Galvatron are such different characters. Megatron to a fault saw value in Starscream regardless how Starscream tried to usurp him. Whereas Galvatron with zero tolerance for disloyalty has the sense to wipe out Starscream from existence
You know, considering a bomb went off in his brain, I'm surprised Metroplex survived this episode. Also, Starscream dealing with Unicron is a pretty cool concept.
Starscream wouldnt control Galvatron even if he could. He enjoys shooting at him more. Plus making Scourge look like a traitor guarantees Scourge plays along. Posessing Galvatron wouldnt have the same effect.

I wonder who voiced Unicron in this episode. It couldn't have been Orson Welles, like he did in the movie. He passed away shortly after voicing Unicron

Starscream was capable of controlling Trypticon. Galvatron really should not be a problem. But then again it depends on the writers.
