Helsinki, Finland. 4x Kone Travelator ride at K-Citymarket, Malmin Nova Mall. (2003, Type R3C)

We take a POV ride on 4x Kone Travelators in the Malmin Nova shopping centre in Helsinki. These are outside the K-Citymarket supermarket and lead down to the car park underneath. Also in this small shopping centre were 2x steep Kone RTV-T escalators from 2001 and at a side entrance, some 1998 Schindler escalators (9300).

** These would be some of the first travelators installed from the changeover between RSV and Eco3000 R3C types, since it was on the late 2002-3 change. That said, except for the system computer and the fact the same base motor has been slightly reconfigured, they're basically identical. These have nice lights under the handrails original from installation.
This mall is connected to another smaller mall and the Malmi station on the commuter railway by a pedestrian overpass footbridge. This is on the same line as the airport but it is an older station, with only one escalator (an outdoor 1980's O&K RT-HD), which was broken and taped off on my visit.
