  • Never seen before: A calcite crystal included in amber dances around a bubble when twisted in different directions.
When Burmese amber formed 100 million years ago and dinosaurs were still roaming the earth, a tiny amount of liquid was trapped inside this amber and started to form a beautiful calcite crystal which took millions of years to grow.
We are in possession of one of the world’s most important amber collections containing life from the past, carefully collected by Dr. Peretti over many years. Particles captured in amber contain vital clues that help explain the world and our universe as it existed 100 million years ago.
