The Avios Super Tucano is a large, impressive, modern-day warbird that offers super-scale looks with a sports plane feel. It has a low wing loading, rock-solid stability throughout its entire speed range, and an awesome presence on the ground or in the air. When flying it tracks like it is on rails with no bad tendencies, and the ground handling is also excellent courtesy of the tricycle landing gear and rugged all-metal, sprung oleo struts. All these traits including long flight times make it the perfect choice for beginners to flying scale model warbirds, and experienced pilots will also love the impressive amount of power and torque from the 6S setup and highly efficient 5-blade scale propeller. This amazing amount of power enables the Super Tucano to carry out large, scale-like maneuvers with confidence and loads of panache.
The flying characteristics are where the Super Tucano comes into its own and make it stand out from the crowd. It flies so well, with a balanced, neutral feel, it can perform aerobatics just as well as any purpose-built pattern-ship. It is also surprisingly 3D capable as well, hovering, rolling circles, knife-edge loops, harriers, and even crankshafts it will take in its stride, the Avios Super Tucano can do them all.

A lovely Super Tucano. The undercarriage, lights, cockpit detail and many other things make this a really good choice from Avios.
One thing I'd say is that, with the rather specialised 5 blade prop it would be nice to have a spare one in the box.

That plane was my biggest dream in my full size years, but I always seemed to be a couple of million dollars short, so I'm glad it's available in a more compact format now. Call it a zero seater, guys, that beauty is a serious aircraft in its own right and shouldn't be regarded a a mere model.
Although not a foam fan myself, this is a very nice plane guys.

I’ve heard others who have flown theirs that it acts almost like it has a gyro-stabilizer. In fact one CZcamsr said someone asked how stable the plane was without the gyro-stabilizer and they told the person that it didn’t even have one.

Those main gear springs are pretty weak and useless!
Imagine how nice it would be if it was not foam… Foam still gets old, dings, spongy with age, hard to clean, not as rigid … So don't think of these planes is something to last there meant to be used and well it sure looks great. Just fly it is an everyday machine. But you'll never see these planes passed on like wooden and cloth aircraft which can be passed on basically generation to generation.
Us old guys fit that description to a T. Especially the not as rigid part. We don't worry about lasting forever. Especially generation to generation. Kids now days have no desire for the hobby. So fly it as a foamie and fly it until it dies. Just like we will. Russ
