Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The instructions that came with the chair weren't even close (the picture in the installation didn't even look like the chair that I purchased). Your directions were perfect!
One year later and Hon is still sending out the old instructions that are not even remotely applicable to this chair. It perplexes me how Hon has the skill to make such a good video and yet be sending out wrong instructions. Save the paper: just send a QR code to this video
I am having a difficult time getting the wheels to stay in. I applied so much pressure that I cut my finger on the base of the chair -- and the wheels fall off as soon as I sit in the chair. Can you provide a better tutorial *up close* for this part of the installation only? You have multiple complaints here.

Place the base upside down on a firm surface. Press each wheel into its hole. The metal shaft should sink all the way into the base. You have to be firm here, but they will go in if you are applying enough pressure straight down. I note that the provided instructions were not the same as this video. The video makes a lot more sense.
@TheHONCompany I just assembled the chair yesterday and when I go to sit down and move the chair, the seat of the chair slightly moves when I push in the chair while seated. There is also an accompanying clicking sound. I can feel the seat moving back and forth depending on my movement. No screws are loose and I followed the assembly instructions to a tee. Please help.

What is the easiest way to remove the lumbar support? I had an earlier iteration of this chair without the lumbar support, and it worked a lot better for me.
Use a rubber mallet to carefully drive the wheel pin down into the base. Grasp the wheel tightly when do this so as to not have the wheel spin while hitting it with the malle

In this concise and clear video show, HON Furniture show us how to put together your Ignition 2.0 (with a smart use of the box). HON Ignition 2.0 is the best value-price task chair in the market. If you are based in NYC, you can get your Ignition in Manhattan Office Design, your really affordable alternative, with brands like HON Furniture and more.
I would include a sheet or hang tag with the youtube video links on how to assemble the chair and how to operate the chair controls. The instructions are not very clear and don't actually show this model chair. Also, a cutting knife was used to open the box which is contrary to warning printed on the box. If a knife is to be used, cut the ends first and then lift up the two large flaps and very carefully cut the tape with the knife. This keeps knife away from the chair parts.
The instructional paper diagrams that came with the chair are hardly understandable. This video was much improved over the paper diagrams. Staring at it, left me totally confused. You need a better technical writer!

Agreed! The picture instructions were awful!

I am having trouble with two wheels. They won’t go in all the way or stay on. Any advice?

Just put the metal part of the wheels under hot water for a few seconds. Wheels will slide in after being warmed up.
Ok this is going to be easier than I thought.
Thanks. Made installation process a lot faster than going by the instruction booklet

This chair would be great if I could get the wheels on
