- In this vlog we are going to continue working on our seawall as we want to protect our village against sea level rise.
Since we begun our seawall project there has been an internal issue between the old generation and new generation on how to work and how to eat. How to eat has been the biggest issue as the old generation wants to have "Waite" which is a biscuit dish. The New Generation wants good comfy food that will give full stomach.
After further discussions we have decided to have new generation for the seawall work today and also new generation afternoon tea with bread, butter and jam.
After the work it was time to VUDE.

I am approaching 60. Would I be the old generation then? Many in my generation were really poor when young. But I agree with you. You can't work properly on just bisquits. We are all cursed with having to go shopping. Go back more generations and they could sustain themselves much more from only the earth and sea. I'm worried if we become too dependent on the shops. Anyway I try to put in several hours of berry picking in the wild, now this season where I live in Norway. Good luck with your work.

with that size of the container, you can use only 4 scoop of cement in to it maybe about 4 bucket of 5 gallon sand and it should be good enough..

Exactly…the biscuit is old school plus they didn’t have that much back in the days. But nowadays, We definitely need good food especially when you do those kinda hard work, seawall specifically. We usually do chicken, chop seuy, rice, taro, hotdogs and fish. Thanks to those who donated…Lord bless you all. Hopefully you guys will have to eat something better than that biscuit that you guys had the last time esp with that kinda work.

I'm just suggesting if you mix water and cement together in the drum first and pour in the sand or gravel to make mixing and stirring easy and keep pouring the gravel until you get the right mix.well that's how we do it in Vanualevu.Dou bula re auvu .WANANAVU
