I fucking hate Laguerta but I love how she is just standing around in the background with an expression like "that damn Dexter getting into his shenanigans again!"
Can't leave this shit lying around bro! I love that the actors probably felt good acting in character and knowing about Dexter, even if it was a dream. Most of them never really get to do that so it must have been fun.
Kind of a slap in the face that they never got to do that by the end of the series, not even in New Blood where they fucking teased it as well. It's, like, the whole damn premise of the show that he's hiding this horrible secret, so naturally the most exciting moments are when he almost gets found out. And yet he never does. Still my favourite show lol
I know this shit is 7 years old, but did anyone else notice that the beginning of the clip it looks like Debra is bringing him into the station in handcuffs? That had to be on purpose.
If you want an underrated scene you should watch the ending of season 1 episode 7. Dexter's smile is just freakin' awesome. I haven't seen that clip on youtube I don't know why no one has uploaded that one.
Season 1 episode 10 for me. The music just takes it to another level. I wish it were more gorey, though, to really shock us so we'd see basically what made Dexter what he is. Can't find it on CZcams either
Ok, seriously. This is just one of many scenes that get overlooked a lot. The acting is just so good and it's sooo freaking funny. That's what makes this show so great. All the subtleties. "You can't leave this shit lying around, bro." - HAHAHAHAHA. Too funny.
Scenes like this were the best in the first seasons, amazing camera work from the directors, from season 5/6 there was a big downgrade of directing style
This was back when the show used to be good.. All before Batista's "We've been waiting on you, Dex." so that Dexter could conveniently be the first to enter a crime scene where the DDK has painted his face on a demon.
I think you could argue that the show has never been as dark as season 1 maybe season 4 but other than that its gotten pretty watered down to gain a larger audience which sucks
When I first saw this I thought "Holy shit, Dexter killed John Locke from lost!" But then I rewound and took a closer look, the bald guy looks similar in passing but not on closer inspection. Still it was a what the fuck moment.
well i did actually enjoy the first ep of season 7 but season 5 and 6 (especially 6) were a seriously drop in quality in terms of writing, style, plot, acting and even cinematography
Yeah man, that's a pretty funny scene. If you treat everything so seriously, you really shouldn't even be watching Dexter to begin with because then you can't root for him or get attached to the story.
Actually, I was laughing my ass off. Doesn't mean people who laugh at that has mental issues. It means they took it for what it's supposed to be; humorous. :)
"You can't leave this shit lying around bro." XD that line had me cracking up so hard when I first heard it.
Arwnd bwo*🤣
@@jillaustin3143 The way he said certain words used to kill me😂😂😂
"can't leave this shit lying around bro" ahaha fuck i love angel
What’s funny is he helped bring down Dexter in new blood. even though that show kind of sucked. I was glad to see Angel again
@@CornholioPuppetMaster I loved it until the last 20 minutes
"Nice. My subconscious isn't even bothering with symbolism."

That had to be on purpose.
Mr. Limekiller oh never noticed that nice eyes you got there
as i first watched it, i didnt thought about she handcuffed him, but "doomed" him to drag some heavy load of....something
Mr. Limekiller I'm sure it was
Nice catch. Yeah, definitely on purpose.
NO. It's mine.
"Cant leave this shi*t lying round bro..."
I laughed so hard when I watched this episode xD

“You can’t leave shit lying around bro”
"Can't leev this shiet lyven arvound bvo"
I have to admit Deb going frm Lundy a sophisticated old man to Quinn who's ...well Quinn. Was a bit weird.
She was dealing with trauma by looking for the complete opposite of what she once had
Batista is fraking hilarious!
Dexter is a such amazing show
Vince Mazuka’s reaction lol
"It's a goddamn safety hazard."
"Can't leave this shit lyin' around, bro."
HAHAHAHAHA!
Can you imagine how doakes would’ve reacted if he was still alive when Rita died?
At that moment Quinn did the same thing as Doakes... suspecting Dexter.
Yeah sorry Angel
He looks so young! 😂
cant leave this shit lying around bro lol
my favourite bit is the cop almost slipping. Just the sound makes it brilliant.
Holy fuck I shat myself watching this first then when I realised it was a dream I kinda giggled at my dumbness 😂😂
This and Season 4 was when the show was to quote the miz AWESOMEEEEEE
This is pretty awkwardly funny
This is how the office should treat Dexter and his work: You can kill any of the bad guys you want, Dex, just don't leave the stuff lying around.
I would love to have a dream like that.
Back when dexter was a legitimate show
i literally felt like dexter at my other job. literally living a double life. " let me put my mask on and be someone completely different"
Poor Bra'tac!
this gives me the frickin chilll
Can't leave this shit lying around bro!
Dreaming about you Dexter.Chief
I love the look LaGuerta gives dexter when he looks at her at around 0:50
People like you makes stuff hard to take seriously!
:)
Right. When I think Dexter, I think subtlety.
damn, why don't I remember that scence.
Laguerta is great in this scene. Got the best lines. Way to move that eyebrow, woman!
Ok, seriously. This is just one of many scenes that get overlooked a lot. The acting is just so good and it's sooo freaking funny. That's what makes this show so great. All the subtleties.

That was psychedelic as fuck
Batista is so fuckin' bro.
laguertas eyebrowngoint up is awesome
lol made me laugh when thinking you both are attacking one person with the same sentence hahaha
I prefer blood on the DANCEFLOOR!!!
Because it went darker and darker.
Debra's voice is different now...
LaGuertas hair actually looks good here.
Yeah 2 years ago...
BRA'TAC CAN'T BE DEAD !
That foot felt like a six feet under reference... But maybe im going crazy...

Well it IS a dream, I could even be friends with a dinosaur name Waldo and a wizard that can only make tacos, it's harmless.
Does anyone know what the music is at the end of this scene?
Raymond Mach Dexter music
What's the name of the background music?
how is the music theme called when Dexter realises that he i carrying the dead body
I don't even remember this scene. Ha.
What's the name of the song being played?
Can't leave this shit lying around bro lollloll!!
@LiNaK37 Yea, you helped a lot
@limatima Yeah. I know
which song is that
@ZakaClark thats what he will be remembered as for all eternity :) Stargate FTW

@LiNaK37 Thanks
His expression at 00:35 looks like Leonard from the Big Bang Theory lol
@achal20mittal beauty of dreams, buddy, the directors don't have to give a damn about continuity shots
I think you could argue that the show has never been as dark as season 1 maybe season 4 but other than that its gotten pretty watered down to gain a larger audience which sucks

@abuadel not any more. They got divorced.
Yum
0:25 the police slipped right? so that slip should leave a skid mark on the blood but at 0:44 there is no skid mark or any sign of the cop slipping
@altairx26 nice job there sherlock you want a medal now
Lundy was cool.
@isidorsavic two I think
Sorry I ment back when it was a good show.
dexters sis is cute
@altairx26
.....psssst......Dexter is dreaming.....it's not supposed to make sense ......
Who misses Dexter and wants a spin off we're Dexter Harrison and Hannah see each other and have new challenges
please no more hannah ever.
You think the original ending sucked? *the finale of the spinoff (Dexter: New Blood) asks you to hold his beer*
Teal'c will avenge him and kick dexters ass

damn it, why can't i find the names of the good tracks, if someone knows the music from 0:40 -0:58. let me know
Because it's the shows original score. Look up the OST, by John Licht, I think.
I'm sure this will be of much use to you 9 years later.
