Face oils actually help regulate your oil production on your face. Have a look into different products with vitamin c and maybe let each product sit for 10-15 mins before applying foundation, I.e moisturiser 10min, then add sunscreen etc. I found that worked for my oily skin

i used a product - a toner - with alcohol denat. for almost a whole ass year. guess what. my skin always broke out, was always red after using it - then i read about it on some website, read some more on a couple of others, checked the toner-bottle..
guess what again. the toner's second biggest ingredient was _alcohol denat._ i was so mad honestly, as i have skin that's quite acne prone. this was said to be specifically for my skin type, but it only _kind of_ worked at the start. a couple of websites said that long-term use could cause side-effects such as:
      _sensitive skin_
      _oilier skin_
      _more acne-prone skin_
      _more acne_
and just worsening skin-health and barrier overall.
now i'm on a strict skin diet, only using water in the morning, then just a moisturizer, and cleansing at night with a moisturizer as a follow up. it's helping a lot, but i'll wait 28 days before i'll conclude anything, as that's how long it takes for the skin to turn over and get all new :>

as of right now, I’m waiting for a yesstyle order to arrive. I’m trying not to pick at my skin, because I’m waiting for the COSRX pimple patches.
My forehead’s tiny bumps enlarged sometime ago but has kinda deflated- idk. I got two pimples on there tho, but idc about those :>
My chin and jaw + the skin under the jaw, at the top of the throat have been the biggest pimple-prone pets of my face.
Cheeks too, but the big wounds and redness has gone down so much! I go outside without anything to cover it up, trying to feel confident with bare skin + visible pimples. It’s quite hard, but I’m also visiting a doctor here tomorrow.
Either they have something for me, can answer a couple of questions, or they’ll send me off to a dermatologist. The thing I’m the most curious about is what I’m allergic to, and what my tiny bumps are.
      *_fungal acne or closed comedones?_*
I think I have both tbh, just at different parts of my face, but I want to know for sure before i buy new products.
Right now I want to stick to a basic skincare routine, so when the new products arrive, I’ll have these two routines:
Morning: Just water to wash face, follow up with a moisturizer & a sunscreen
Night: Oil cleanse, normal cleanse, pimple patches (as I’ve heard they should be applied onto bare skin), moisturizer or rice overnight hydrating
      mask.

For those who are insecure about themselves and especially their faces.
    You are unique.
There's only one YOU in this world, and that alone makes you beautiful.
Yes I know, now you might say: that doesn't change the fact that I have acne! Or: it doesn't matter what you say, I still feel ugly!
Yes, I understand that perfectly well.
I've been insecure about my own face for years and years too, just like you.
But do you wanna know how I started liking myself a bit more?
Everyday I stood in front of my mirror and searched for at least one thing that I truly love/like about my face.
    I like my long lashes!
They are so long that I don't even need mascara.
I like the shape and the colour of my eyes.
I like my teeth when they are freshly brushed!
I like my whole face when it glows after I used a sheet mask.
You can't do that and it's still not helping you? Then how about spoiling and taking care of your skin everyday?
When you look at yourself with despising thoughts in your mind everyday, it will get stuck in your head. Sometimes toxic thoughts are far more difficult to remove than pimples.
But if you think "today I'm gonna do something good for myself", your thinking pattern will slowly start to change.
Use sheet masks, or any other kind of facial mask that doesn't dry out your skin.
Lovingly caress your face when you apply creams and moisturizers!
    Smile at your own reflection.
Try goofy faces to make yourself laugh.
I promise you, it will change the way you think about yourself!
Of course you will still have bad days from time to time, I still have them too.
But most of the time I can look at myself whithout disgust/sadness/disappointment.
As cheesy as it may sound, but:
    You are beautiful.
    You are unique.
    You are handsome.
    You are pretty.
You are wort being loved and respected.
    You are gorgeous.
    You are cute.
    You are YOU.
Feel hugged from me and have a great day, stay healthy and don't forget to smile!

I think the Korean complexion and skin tone has more to do with the glass skin effect than anything else. They have very healthy skin and a pale skin tone which when layered with moisturising products reflect light and give off a sheen. The same kind of thing would happen to anyone applying oil on their face but I feel since my skin is Tan it ends up making me look greasy. My cousin has fair skin with rosacea and on her again it just looks completely different. All in all, it is a vacuous trend and we should aim for healthy skin not glass skin.

sadly that's what happens when people with naturally nice skin promote products...
my sensitive, acne-prone with rosacea skin can't relate AT ALL, lol. that's why everyone should educate themselves on ingredients/composition(at least the basics) and not blindly believe anyone just because their skin looks good!

Hey girls if you want real good advice you should watch dermatologists like dr Dray and dr Kevin Lim, and even skincare by Hyram. So many of these products don't actually help your skin, don't rely on "influencers" for advice but do your own research :) I can't imagine the costs of such a routine and there's not even awesome ingredients in most of these products.
Definitely check the ingredient lists and if you see (denatured) alcohol, fragnance, or essential oils don't buy for sure :)

Just a word of warning if you have dry skin or sensitive skin, that toner has denatured alcohol as the third ingredient and the serum is heavily fragranced. Also this was a sponsored video just so you know lol.
