1.6-2mm stainless wire from Bunnings is a much better way to secure a lot of shit, decent side cutters also make a great addition to the boat bag

They fine people for not having names on pots but will happily watch people with trawling nets going through the middle of the river taking everything they can.
Can I just say, by you guys referring to Fisheries and the people who caused you grief !!!!!!!!!!!! then it gives them power over you and your content.
I must say that you both are legends providing great content on diverse subjects and it did not show fisheries in a good light at all for allowing themselves to be used to harass, by someone with an agenda.
It is illegal to actually do that and police go to a lot of trouble to not be drawn into game playing by a person with an axe to grind.
What I said before about your recycling your fish all the way from the reef and then used to catch a feed and then as you showed releasing them to feed the crabs from the area you harvested is the ultimate closed loop of getting the very most from every part of the harvest to feed the family.
it needs to be said that catching and killing your food is your traditional right in this country yet a very small minority don't want to see food killed and consumed fresh because they say they are upset and offended, yet we have no control over them bombarding us with their agenda.
I loved the way that Brett went all the way to opening the crab to explain exactly what he was doing to dispatch it, I actually prefer my traditional way of making an ice slurry with seawater and ice that is so cold that they go to sleep in seconds and is barely above freezing.
To each, their own but no person should be harassed or made to feel guilty for teaching how to hunt, catch and prepare food for Family and Loved ones.
You might have 5 or 10 people trying to create waves but Matey take them off 87,000 Subscribers and which groups do you want to work with? and the real question about the 10 people is fi they were successful and people cared about their opinions then they would be busy on their channel telling people how to Name tag their pots? Speaks for itself Doesn't it Legends?

This is more like Cajun crabs. That pot can only cook half ot the crabs.
I would only use one spoon chilies. Soy sauce goes in last as it becomes bitter during cooking.

I know Aus is different since half the animals can kill you, but over here in the US, snitches have to worry about getting their selves underground too early, on account of all the AR that are far more accurate than any crocs... telling someone how to do something the right way in the comments, is one thing; snitching is totally unacceptable, and will result in a correction... People need to be reminded that there are consequences to snitching... it is definitely not in bad taste to repeat it...

It's not rocket science. All I want is for my kids to have the same opportunity I had growing up and that will only be there due to fishing limits. I hope you both have sons!
