    • @drsharkboy6568
      @drsharkboy6568 Před 7 lety +13

ken master it could have an ocean under a thick ice sheet if it had enough moons. That could tidally heat the planet and keep some water liquid and support hydrothermal vents. This is what goes on on Jupiter's moons. Most of this life will be bacteria that use chemicals from the vents, but if some of these evolve bioluminescence there is the possibility of photosynthetic life evolving in symbiosis with the bioluminescent bacteria, allowing for more oxygen than would otherwise be possible. This would also mean that we could be looking at trillions of tons of fish-sized life forms. Europa could have 3 million tons of said life forms, so just imagine what could be possible on a similar world the size of Earth. This could also mean that we could find life on a moon around planet nine.

You do know astronomers don't see exoplanets don't you? One way they discover exoplanets is by watching the patterns of the luminosity of the stars, because orbiting planets might pass in front of them, blocking part of the light. The other one is by watching star trajectories. If the star doesn't go "straight" and does wiggle, there might be a planet altering it with its gravity.

      1. Nearly a round shape. ✅
      2. Orbit the sun. ✅
      3. Clear "Neighbourhood" when orbiting. ❌
By clear neighbourhood, I mean when nothing gets in its way when it is orbiting the sun.

I swear if Voyager makes a photo of both i am going to be fucking happy.
And if it is like earth i think we could live near it's geologically active geysers or volcanoes.
    EDIT 1:Alright, listen up here.
Vsauce made a video about if we could live without the sun and yes. yes we can as long as we live near active volcanoes which allows heat to warm up the volcano and it's surroundings, making an earth like termperature. We could live on this ice world in the future probably if it even exists and we could supply food to small colonies, build domes against the extreme weather etc.
But i never said to not go to Mars, we could go to mars and do the same thing but a little different. Like in the mars one mission instead of a dome.
    Thanks for understanding.

We wouldn't be able to live on it since it's atmosphere composition would most likely be different, being so far away from the sun to receive basically any heat. It might be geologically active but the likelihood of being able to live on either planets is pretty low since they're so far away and we haven't landed people on our closest planets yet.. besides the fact we don't know 100% if they exist even.

What if its an extremely large UFO? We have this image of a large UFO being the size of a city, but what if their home was 20x or 100x our size, supporting the ability to have a spacecraft that large. Aliens themselves could be gigantic too. It would also be cool if the reason we didn't see it(but see it's gravitational effect) is because they developed a way to absorb all spectrums of light and not reflect any, and its not just black.
    Just a thought.

I was taking a picture of a conjunction with the moon and Jupiter and under Jupiter I saw the second
Moon. It has its own phase too.

I propose names of planets Nine and Ten to be:
Planet Nine: Hecate, Greek goddess of witchcraft
Reason: Venus is lonely as the only goddess-named planet. I know that there's an asteroid called Hecate but we reused the names Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto for asteroids, with the moon Ganymede being larger than Mercury.
Planet Ten: Krios, Greek god of ice and cold, brother of Kronos (Saturn)
Reason: It's an icy planet, likely cold and dark. The name is also used for a star but as I said, look at Hecate's reason.
