Springtime in 'de Zumpe' nature reserve near Doetinchem, Netherlands, is a bustling hub for water and wading bird species. As the season blooms, various ducks flock to 'de Zumpe' as a pit stop on their migratory journey. In a recent filming expedition, I captured the lively spectacle of seven distinct duck species gracing the reserve in April alone. But that's not all - the seasoned residents of 'Zumpe' have already begun their family affairs, introducing a delightful array of fledglings to the scene. Join us on a vibrant avian adventure featuring fifteen different bird species, accompanied by a fittingly enchanting soundtrack: A Spring Serenade!
Het prille lenteseizoen brengt een overvloed aan water- en waadvogels naar het biodiverse natuurgebied 'de Zumpe' nabij Doetinchem. Vooral diverse eendensoorten vinden in deze periode hun toevlucht tot de Zumpe als tussenstop tijdens of in voorbereiding op de vogeltrek. In de maand april kon ik maar liefst zeven verschillende eendensoorten vereeuwigen op film. De vaste bewoners van de Zumpe hebben echter al hun eerste broedsels verwelkomd, waardoor talrijke jonge vogels sierlijk voorbij zwommen voor mijn camera. Laat je betoveren door de vijftien verschillende vogelsoorten in deze film, begeleid door een epische, passende soundtrack.
