Really feels like some classic TF2 cinematics… such a shame they never went back to it in favour of Battle Royale. A lot of animated potential.

Such a shame they dropped the one mode people paid for
STW is actually a legitimately enjoyable mode. It is a perfect loop of progression, combat, with the added toppings of great music, stunning scenery, constant development (this has slowed down the last year RIP), and a decent, humorous story with a thoughtful development team. I know that it has slowed down of recent years, however if you look at the game and realize the depth and thought that has been put in to it I think you'll appreciate it.

I remember watching this trailer with my brothers when it was shown. And we were pretty interested. It had been a while since we'd played any local multiplayer games, and this seemed like it would be a lot of fun, like a cartoony CoD Zombies meets L4D.

The animation and the voice acting is fantastic. Even how they started building up the story at the start of this game is just genius. Brought so much life to the characters too. Fortnite needs to do more of these again

Honestly it's one of the things I like about Save The World. It's a way more cartoonish story than say BR, but in a very good way. The characters and their personalities are just great!

Edit: To stop the questions of how did you buy it on accident let me clarify. I wanted see how much it cost because my friends were playing it. So my dumbass self clicked purchase to see how much It would cost because usually there's verification. My intent wasn't to buy it but see the cost of it. Ah, what could've been. I remember people speculating this was a Character Based Team Wave game. So every character had special abilities, etc. Too bad they never went free with the original idea.
Funny how they forget about this mode, this is what their game was first developed as and they now treat stw with no updates and just copy and paste from battle royale.

I bought the game in 2018 and got myself midway through plankerton. Picked it back up again at the start of 2020 and I’ve played nonstop on it ever since. I’ve played just about every venture season. I’m Power Level 138, max currently is 139. It’s addicting and there’s a variety of ways to level yourself up which is fun. The dialogue of the storyline is clever and funny. I have founder pack too so i still earn vbucks off it.
For a mode that has around 5% of the people who play fortnite, this mode is very underrated!
I honestly find myself doing missions while im bored of playing battle royal.

5% seems small, but there were ~27,000 active players in STW just today. just goes to show how massive this franchise is now
