- With the rivers running high after storm Babet, and with me feeling a bit rough with a cold caught soon after my covid/flu jabs, this is a video I recorded back in the warmer weather. It's a look at the tackle I take on an average trip, the emphasis being on travelling as light as possible.
I’ve got into Barbel fishing these last few years and I’ve definitely cut back on the tackle carry.
Thanks Bob , always interested to peek in peoples tackle bag , I only have a small rucksack like yourself with just enough room for a few bits and my flask . I also carry a small bucket with lid which contains bait , forceps , spare leads and hooks , reading glasses etc . This also makes a nice flat surface when lids on to tie rigs and placing my cup of tea on
Thanks John. I wasn’t sure how interested people would be so it was good to get your feedback. Also interesting to learn how you do things.
Thanks bob found it interesting, when I go fishing my car is full these days but when I fly fish I only carry what’s I can get in my pockets ,cheerstight lines
Thanks Roy. Believe it or not what I showed you equates to an almost full boot owing to a totally impractical choice of car!
