    Great video. You're forgetting one. The XOP. Set up just like lone wolf but the locking mechanism on their sticks is by far the best

      Thanks, and yes XOP makes a great set-up! Just a little heavier than the lone wolf. Good luck this fall and God bless

    what are some of the problems on the Muddy pro that you refer to on your post below, was just about to pull the trigger on a set but now have reservations

      There was a recall on them in 2012. I’m sure if you ordered them brand new you’ll be fine. Here’s a link tho! saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/muddy-pro-stick-recall.12302/

    I personally do not trust cam buckles to hold my weight. Im looking to get my first set of climbing sticks.. any opinions on cambuckles slipping? Should I trust them like 99percent? If not im looking for other options or diy solutions. Awesome vid. Very cut and honest

      @ridgeraisedoutdoors  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks your the input. And I’ve never had issues with the cam buckles slipping but like I showed in the video you can make a knot to secure it even more. These great options out there tho even if you want to make something yourself! Good luck this year and God bless!

    I’ve been in the fence about ordering the Muddy Pros but the reviews and quality seem to be really inconsistent, so I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Keep the review videos coming!

      Battle Creek Outdoors I love them! I’ve heard things about certain model of them having problems but I have the old version. I’m sure they fixed the problem by now though!

      @@ridgeraisedoutdoors I would think so, my climber does the job 85-90% of the time but it would be nice to have another option.

    • @ridgeraisedoutdoors

      Battle Creek Outdoors yeah, my climber days are pretty much over after using the hang and hunt method the last few years. Plus it’s a lot safer than climbers. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask man!

    • @ridgeraisedoutdoors

      13-15ft. Depends on how long you space them out. With an aider even higher

    I have the hawk helium’s with the buckle straps changed out for ropes like your muddy pros, I have the older helium’s without the suction cups though , I do like that stacking system better.
