I have some theories I wanna share, you kinda said that but I think when he say but they will be alive tomorrow? I think he's talking about legacy, while all the industry people wanna control his music, they will die and pass, but, if his music has a meaning, it will leave a legacy, that will stay there "forever". Another idea I have is a theory I'm developing, but don't you think ride has some link with lane boy? Ride has a good reflexion about life and people around us, but the chorus doesn't really fits with the rap part, and these music kinda make apologies about the same thing, what about ride in the lane, boy? These are quite two metaphors talking about moving, physically, and if you go deeper, in stressed out's video, Tyler rides a tricycle in his lane, his street he lived when he was a kid, and more obvious and more important, in Lane boy, Tyler go back to the ride's lirycs, when he say, "who would you live and die for on that list", which is basically the idea of ride. That's all, sorry for bad English, I'm Brazilian haha

(i may or may not have commented this already but better safe than sorry) in your "all top songs explained" video, you said that Screen is about Tyler being broken and knowing that God knows he's broken despite trying to act, oh so cool. Which is a good theory and could very possibly true, I believed it until I watched d a specific live performance of Screen where Tyler says "this song is called screen, and I wrote it just for you", talking to the clique.So I think it's pretty likely he wrote it for his fans, how they might have thought he was doing better mentally, but wasn't? Maybe something else? Maybe it has a double meaning? But yeah just wanted to say that :)
