I've dealt with this for 5 years now after hyper-stretching my lower back while being bent down for too long. NOTHING really helps with the pain. The only thing that works for a while is going through (expensive and painful) multiple sessions of prolotherapy but it comes back after a few months. I've figured that doing nothing is the best way to not get pain. If I try to work out, stretch, or bent over for just a little bit, the pain and soreness come back with a vengeance.

@@erval9 ultrasound guided Iliolumbar injection. I think I have this and little bit of SI instability too. I was told if you have Iliolumbar condition SI fusion may not be successful I’m so mad that Iliolumbar does not have any definite solution other than prolo but was told it is almost 50/50

@@kimsunku07 I did 4-5 sessions of prolotherapy separated between 3-4 weeks for each session. My prolo doctor injected dextrose procaine which is basically sugar water. That makes the ligament get inflamed and accelerate healing and repair itself and make it stronger. It felt good for a few months after my last session but after a year or so, my achy back came back. It was not as painful as when I first injured it but it felt more like soreness with mild-moderate pain especially after I did physical work like mowing the lawn. I recently did 2 sessions of PRP shots instead of dextrose, that supposedly makes you heal quicker and better since it's your own platelets and red blood cells healing directly into your ligament. PRP is better in my opinion but it is also more expensive but you also would need less sessions. Regarding your last comment, I agree. It is frustrating because going to the regular doctors would only refer you to pain meds, physical therapy or surgery but with no clear diagnosis or solution. None of my regular doctors knew what I had or cared until I did my own research and found an alternative medicine clinic which he did diagnose my condition. Sucks because you have to pay out of pocket because insurances don't want to cover for alternative solutions that are not approved by corrupt health and pharma agencies. During my first dextrose prolo sessions my prolo doctor did poke the SI joint but I don't think it did much because that wasn't my issue. Mine is only the right side iliolumbar ligament that is damaged. I have all the symptoms and I feel good now but let's see how I feel in a few months or years. I will consider it a success if I do 1-2 PRP sessions every 2+ years. Hopefully heal completely! Good luck with your journey man, I hope this helps!

@@erval9 Great! Thank you for sharing your experience. How much % improve by prolo and how many rounds of shot? I can’t walk straight with my right leg because of pain on Iliac crest every step. Does pain doc usually do prolo? I have first pain management appointment next week.
