FABRIC SLASHING on CURTAIN fabric | Textile Fabric Manipulation Technique | Didsbury Art Studio

Using this textile technique I experiment with some curtain fabric and use the iron to heat press certain areas to reveal the metallic fabric underneath. Great fun!
Hello I'm Sally an art and textiles teacher who set up my small teaching business @didsburyartstudio after leaving my full-time teaching job in a school in the UK. Since then I have been exploring my passion for art/textiles by building up a portfolio of new skills from courses I have been on and a recent Internship in Millinery. I supply teach in secondary schools, run textile workshops and also work part-time in a hospital teaching art.

Yes you're right a month later I bought an Ansio Travel Iron Quilting Mini Steam Craft Iron from Amazon and it really helped. I do like the look of what you have just mentioned thank you😊
