I had a mowing customer ask me who I would suggest to pressure washing a tennis court. I automatically said that I do it. ( I didn't even own a machine). Said I'll work out a quote. Measured up. Went to two other customers who had courts who all knew each other and said the "other two are getting their court cleaned, would you like a quote". In the end had three courts, googled washing rates, and hired the machine for a weekend. Made $2600 in a day and a half.

Starting small but loving the new mindset. I decided to do what I know already which is vinyl graphics but I’ve gotten myself a button maker, and looking at new tshirt machines for silk screening. The possibilities are endless and as a creative person, it just feels natural to stay motivated to get things going on my own. And now I’ve got more ideas than ever on how to spruce up the work I do already and new ideas that I could start new ventures. People like this man make it seem worth it and we all have an image we want to embody but normalcy keeps us complacent. Be different because you definitely are in some capacity and don’t be boring.

How i started too…. With borrowed equipment. Taking all my profits from both arborist, window cleaning, and grass cutting to buy better equipment. What ik now vs then. I was one of those folks who thought PSI was king. But really its gallons per minute. Always used STIHL brand. First power washer which i still have is a RB600. But in the future i think my next washer will be belt driven. And ability to bolt on truck bed. Vs hauling in and out of the truck. It’s okay to start out small. Learn as you go, grow into your business. And find people like him or Mike. And follow them on social media so you can constantly get hit with excellent results and confidence.

Hey Justin, I took the plunge, I have the equipment. I paid cash, so now I am broke, but not in any debt. My question now is how to get customers. I have spent way too much money on Yelp. I do not recommend that to anyone, I don't have facebook nor will have facebook, sorry if that is offensive, I need ideas for other routes than facebook for work. I have done OK on nextdoor, but not really livable. Marketing seems to be my problem. Once I get the job it all works out good, it is just getting the job.
