sea drone with missile
has been seen in footage.

Ukraine will refine the technology. This is valuable learning data. AI vision targeting and launch could help along with a swivel base on the missile launcher, so that the drone doesn't have to reposition itself to get a clear shot at the aircraft. Not a huge technical obstacle. Just a little bit of electrical and computer engineering ???

Seems fishy, Ukraine don’t used sea drones in daytimes, and Ukraine hasn’t says anything about this.

This is very scary for the Russians. Imagine a bunch of similarly armed ship drones, each 1 km apart and in line. If a helicopter goes after a drone ship, there will be another firing a missile at it.

A possible counter-air tactic might be to send the sea drones out in pairs. While the helicopter or airplane is targeting one sea drone, the other sea drone could be lining up a shot with it's sea-to-air missile.
So... basically it gets destroyed...
It's actually not too difficult to see an adequate response to these sea-drones: small-drone attacks from the air and/or anti-torpedo torpedo's.

It sounded like they used a minigun at some point, and some other weapon, a minigun fires like 6000 rounds a minute, even a blind guy should be able to hit something with one of those.

Assuming it is genuine, of course...
Using the full mount, and propulsion stage, makes it MOST unlikely it was used to supplement the normal explosive charge, not soes it appear to be a SAM application.
What I suspect is it was to be used as a launch platform for a SSM - if it hadn't been detected it could have come much closer to the coast, extending it's effective reange compared to a Ukraine launch site.
A scary thought for Russian helicopter crews is what if Ukraine seeded their drone boats with some armed with MANPADs, specifically to lure in helicopters, and shoot them down? If the Ikrainian engineers are really smart, they may be able to modify/piggyback the control system to that, if the missile isn't deployed against an air target, it can then target something on the surface, such as an enemy vessel or building?
Ukraine should equip its drones with smoke screens so that the drones can deploy them in all directions around.
But then the drone will not be able to see

It was r73 which use his heat seeker to lock the target but i don't think Ukraine have modern variant of r-73 because it was made in russia but it was affordable and smart Idea they used air to air combat missile as a short range air defense system.

Helicopter was too close. Missile wont work if target is too close, it has to fly some distance to activate. Same thing with NLAW`s, there has to be like 25 meters distance so the rocket could work, it wont explode if too close.
The Russians got lucky and they are trying to display it as a dominant intervention. I m not sure about the missile lock to target and how it acquires it however it appears that it may have malfunctioned. We know the encounter lasted far longer then the video. And we have know idea how much Ammunition was involved in the drones destruction . However I would guess it was considerable amount.
