Here's something new and very limited that you won't find at any other gourd farm!
We have a limited supply of what we are calling "distressed finish" gourds. No, they are not damaged gourds, they are top-quality gourds that have not yet completely dried!
What makes them special is that you can create unique pieces of art that are simply not possible with an ordinary dried gourd.
Once you see what can be created, you'll want to have a box of these very special gourds! But, a word of advice, once you get your box of distressed finish gourds, don't let them sit around! They are best when you craft them as soon as possible and get them sealed so that they stay looking exactly how you intended them to look!

My sister and I are making gourd jewelry. I cut circles, of all sizes, and different shapes. I woodburn the designs, then we color it. We use Sharpies and metallic acrylic paints. We did a show and people loved the necklaces and earrings! I just love working on the gourds, including the miniature gourds!

That does look like it still has mold on it -particularly if it hasn't been fully cleaned. Also, folks need to wear a mask when they're sanding. You don't want all that in your lungs.

      Hello Zeldas,
The coloration is the skin of the gourd. It is not mold.
