    I still find it fascinating how each reef handles things so uniquely tank to tank. Yet a lot of times the so called test numbers are the same. Their are SO many subtle symbiotic things going on that we cant test for. Your tank still looking as stunning as ever!👍 .... well after the glass is clean! 😂

    Great vid again Tris. Prefer the look of the tank after you cleaned the glass!! My fav and stunning. Trying to follow you with keeping hands out the tank. As soon as i get home i will be cleaning my glass!!

    Great update mate all the things that you have said I have implemented over the past couple of weeks, I had 0 nitrates and Don't have a clue why, I've always struggled to have higher nitrates, phosphate I've always been up and down with absolutely love the pink Mili 😍😍, and torches are looking great mate 👍

      @NanoTankReefer  Před 2 lety +1

      I watched your last update on the nitrate situation, looks like yours are on the up though 💪I do need to get it sorted asap though, I have a couple of chalice that aren't liking low nutrients 😬

      @@NanoTankReefer it's crazy mate this hobby, my chalices don't mind either, whether there low or not and yet the Mili I had definitely succumbed to low nitrates, also my tank seems to like higher phosphate levels as well, around 0.08 - 0.14 it is a crazy hobby we're in. Your tank still looks incredible mate I would love my SPS to grow as fast as yours 👍👍👏👏

    Im guilty of forever putting my hands in the tank 😬 Your tank still looks banging. The pastel coral look was all the rage not so many years ago when the general consensus was that you had to keep PO4 and NO3 as low as possible. How things change

    • @NanoTankReefer
      @NanoTankReefer  Před 2 lety

      I'm terrible for it... I'm a changed man now though 😂 yeah I'm not a huge fan of pastel, they just look like they are teetering on the edge of life and death

    Why not run skimmer and just remove the collection cup? Nice update 👍🏻

    • @NanoTankReefer
      @NanoTankReefer  Před 2 lety

      If I remove the cup and run the skimmer the popping bubbles creates mess of salt creep. I recorded this on Sunday and on Tuesday I decided to take the skimmer offline for a few days.... I still haven't seen a nitrate reading 😅

    what way do you dose the lantinum. dripped via doser? `does it go through a filter sock?

    • @NanoTankReefer
      @NanoTankReefer  Před 2 lety

      I dose 0.1ml per hour into the chamber of the Clarisea via a doser. It can also be dosed into a filter sock

    • @peterbws
      @peterbws Před 2 lety +1

      @@NanoTankReefer ok thanks, you find dosing it slower works better than a large amount at once?

    • @NanoTankReefer
      @NanoTankReefer  Před 2 lety

      I like to dose it slower as I feel like it keeps po4 levels more stable throughout the day. If you dosed all at once you with have a dip in po4 then a gradual increase throughout the day. Both dosing all at once and throughout the day will work just fine but I though, as I have the option to spread it out over 24 hours I may aswell 🙂
