So glad to see The Merciless on this list. That was also my first horror outside of Stephen King and RL Stine. I adored this series.
Camp and Halloween slaughter definitely on my radar.
Thanks!!

Eeeeeh, I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel, Aspen! I already read some of the books you mentioned (I really enjoyed the River Man), and been wondering about some of those you mentioned here already - thanks for the recommendations, that was pretty much the last push that I needed for some of those!
lovedddddddd these recs! so many are on my tbr
Iâm excited! Iâm going to pick up The Patient, that sounds so interesting to me. Thanks!
You wonât regret it. Itâs Such a quick and awesome read.
I hope you like it!!
the name aspen has been added to my baby names list now, such a lovely name! ahhh I loved this video â„ïž
These are amazing recommendations. I looooove Cirque Berserk!!!!
Zola is a great read if you like COWS. I found some parts to be very sad, but other than that a great read.
I loved MANY of these books! đđ Great video, Aspen! Do you mind being included in a future video of mine(reading recs from booktubers)?
sure, i'd love to!
Camp Slaughter and Halloween Slaughter were soooo good! I loved them! The second half of the book ( in both booksl) is where i started flipping the pages at incredible speed. I'll get The Patient By Jasper. It sounds right up my alley :). Thanks.đ I love your book recommendations. It doesn't matter if we don't see eye to eye on every single book because it is indeed subjective. It's always nice to know what your faves are. đ
I hope you like The Patient!! And thank you, that means a lot!! đ

It's crazy!!
okay okay, I've just got This is Where We Talk Things Out on my Kindle because I've seen two people hyping it now!

New sub, I heard about you on Hailey Hughes. Great recs!
Welcome! Thank you!!
I literally past by Horrorstor on the table today at B&N and thought thatâs a weird spot for a catalog or a coffee table book⊠HAHA. đ

The Scapegracers sounds amazing! Tender is the Flesh made me đ€ą
Uff the Triana book killed me. That's as extreme as I can handle lol
â€â€â€â€â€
Have you read Wonderland by Jennifer Hillier?
I haven't, but it's on my TBR!
I really want to read Tender is the Flesh but Iâm also nervous about it haha
Itâs not to bad. Itâs like a cross between Fahrenheit 451 and 1984. Solid read. Nothing too gory or bad.
Camp Slaughter sounds like a fun time but Iâm so nervous Iâm going to be nauseous the entire book đ
Camp Slaughter has a prologue, maybe you could try reading just that to start with to see how you feel? That prologue really sets the tone for the rest of the book, so if it's too much than you can just be done after those 5 or 10 pages đ
Grandpappy is truly fucked up beyond believe. It is just insane.
As I say to my daughter opinions are like butts we all have them đ
I was so much more innocent before I learned about the clown đ
