@Dr Britton this question came to mind. Now I know you can apply once you're not at the retirement age or if your in a state that the retirement age doesn't matter. It would be nice to cover a video on Seniors teaching meaning those of us within the late 40s to 60s bracket who have an Education bachelor degree and experience including being able to use technology or open to learning more about technology. Also are there Senior friendly schools or age friendly school districts that are at a medium to slower pace or a pace that you can start and build as you grow in your job without being run over. I'm just curious to know if that's possible or can be found. Finally is there an international USA teacher license or certificate exam that you can do before applying? Thanks in advance for your response.

Master in Education with a concentration in Mathematics would do. Or, try to acquire a PGDE.

Having a USA license is not required but being eligible to get one is.. that’s how the credential evaluation comes in.

My school can't seem to find my bachelor's degree results which I can't explain how. But, i do have a diploma and a teaching certificate with 10years teaching experience. What do you mean they can’t find you bachelors degree results? They are going to need the credentials evaluated.

Ok Mme, I'm really scared I might loose this life changing opportunity because the school is being sluggish about the issue. I've never known about this teaching jobs in the US until this opportunity showed up after my husband applied for me. I'm definitely taking this extremely seriously until I get to teach in the US,if not this year definitely in the coming years by God's grace cuz I'm not backing out. What is the age criteria?
Hi Dr. Britton, regarding the teaching qualifications, I attended a polytechnic and obtained a 'higher national diploma'' an equivalent of bachelor degree in my home country, and also acquired a 'postgraduate diploma in education' and 'master of education'. Can I still teach with these qualifications with my 10-years teaching experience?
What concentration is your MED? Is it in the same field with your HND?
You could also do a WES evaluation of your ND and HND. That comes off as Bsc
Your credentials evaluation will need to show that your credentials are equivalent to a usa degree to determine your eligibility.

To teach in USA they ask that you do a credential evaluation to see if your degree is equivalent to a USA degrees. That is not true about only hiring the two subjects you shared. You would have to find a school that needs a teacher with your experience.

Can you please tell me an indian b.ed degree is valid in u.s?
That’s how the credential evaluation comes in. That’s not something I can tell. The company evaluating your transcript will determine that.

There really is not a age limit if that’s what you mean. If you are capable of managing a class, you can teach.
