Powered by a 248.5cc, 2-stroke, air-cooled engine, The Yezdi Classic produces a peak torque of 2.1kgm @ 3500rpm. Its clutch plate assembly comprises of 5 friction plates, automatically running in an oil bath during each gear change.
The Classic’s front brake comprises of a twin cam double leading shoe type brake, and a single cam with single leading shoe at the rear. The Classic weighs 131kg, with a wheelbase of 1350mm and a ground clearance of 150mm.

Brother kindly visit this website and read about the world tour on RD done back in 1984 by two Indian motorcycle enthusiasts. That bike completed the ride with the stock points ignition setup.
