A lot of pro's play like that. They don't need the other half of the keyboard as they bind everything in reach of one hand, allows for a larger area for your mouse (easier to use lower DPI) and at the same time their arms aren't miles apart then. It's the opposite of limiting, lower DPI = better aim when done correctly.
