The great Traditional Culture of the Island Kingdom of Tonga. Their love for God and their neighbors, their wonderful inheritance. Their love for their Kings and Queens
and their Royal Households. So, proud to be Tongans.

If you knew the strong connection between Samoa and Tongan royals you will know that kings of Tonga are sons of Samoa.

@@_pineappleprince Sorry but no that's not the full story I ment the first king of Tonga "Aho'eitu" was the son of Tui Manu'a Fitiaumua, Samoa used to have five kings, but now is only four cause the fifth king of Samoa resided in American Samoa in the sacred islands of Manu'a, Tui Tonga was created by our (Royals) known as the "Tama a aiga" Samoa has about 16 royal families Tonga has about three royal families and they're all known as the "Tama a aiga" Sa Malietoa was not the first king of Samoa, Samoa and Tonga used to be one country that's why there are so much similarities between the two countries, there were ancient kingdoms before the Tui Tonga, there was Tui Pulotu empire of Fiji Tui Vava'u empire of Vava'u, Tui Vasa empire, Tui Atua empire one of the kings of Samoa, Tui A'ana empire also one of the kings of Samoa, Tui Manu'a Satalaimoa the first king of Samoa and Tonga, so now you know the whole truth.

@@HAMOEVACHEEHOOO I can agree that Tonga and Samoa were one country but if you really look at the names of the country you will be able to understand which island was paramount to which. There are legends of Manu'a or Manuka in Tonga. There is places here in Tonga and Samoa that bears the same name and much cannot be ascertained to where its true origin. The main purpose of these tales or legends was to depict the divine authority of the Tongan King or Tu`i Tonga. Such divinity that they were considered to be Gods or descendants of Gods. If the tales were told to be that they originated from Samoa then they can never ever put their own Gods under their own rule because one thing is for sure about the Tongan tradition that it was not written but passed down with orators. Our practices and traditions and legends contradicts that there was ever a power before the Tui Tonga. The story started with the Tangaloas, the God of the skies, The hikuleo the Gods of the underground and the Mauis the Gods of Maama or the earth. The Maui then fished the islands out of the land with the help of the Tangaloa creating their island with saw dust. that they dropped from the skies. anyways much we are related between Tonga and Samoa but not to mislead people that there was an actual history of dynasties before the Tui Tonga. If it ever it existed it does not exist with Tonga because it would have been passed down the generations but it was not. We have legends of Rotuma to Hawaii and easter island and stretch to Vanuatu and Solomon Islands Even to New Zealand. As mentioned we were one meaning the whole empire was an extended arm of itself never seen to be different from the other. The only thing that differentiated the islands was where the King was residing at the time of his rule which shifted for a time to Samoa and back to Tonga. It went at times Futuna and almost across the countries.

@@HAMOEVACHEEHOOO 'Aho'eitu was not the first king of Tonga. Our ancient rulers descend from dynasties that have long died out through political strife or assimilated into other ha'a lines. We know one of these lines descended from the Hawai'iloa lines through Maui. Another line we know of comes from 'Atea which still survives in Rarotonga (Cook Islands), Hiva (Marquesas) and Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Tangaloa introduced the Tu'i Tonga line which combined the nobility of Samoa, Niuatoputapu and Tonga. Hikule'o is Tangaloa and Maui's oldest sister who is also a māhū/fakafāfine (male/female). All the feminine rulers descend from her. Mortal Tongans descend from the 3 elder gods: Kohai (male), Koau (female), and Momo (male/female).
