My Young Wife passed away in 2020. Even though Music like this Helps me - I wonder if there will ever be a "Time to Move on" after such a Loss - As they say - "You never get over it, You just learn to Live with it". My mom and I found a beautiful quote following the loss of her husband/my father. It says: After you lose someone you don't move on, you learn to hold onto your loved one differently. For me it feels like carrying the love of my father with me and sort of experience beautiful things together internally.
It's wasn't my fault that they hurt me, it's my fault to let it hurt me this long before doing something about it.

That's the definition of self love. Keep it up, and never forget that you are the first one that you need to love. Self love is a discipline. It's weird to say and weird to hear, but it's true. Sometimes you just need to show the ones you love that you love them. Same goes for yourself. Have the discipline to bring in the positivity and shed the negativity. I'm going through a similar thing right now too. Stay strong, and commit to the long term.

All emotions are derived from within, spawning only from the self.. never has hatred, anger, sadness love or joy been injected into us, they all stem from our original nature, arriving to being by our own consciousness.
Physical and psychological abuse may and will eventually happen to some degree in all our lives, but ones choice to respond and at what manner we do, will eternally be that of the self and not by the external.
I ask as often as possible to allow this to be a true understanding, beyond the intellect, for myself and for every other person.

@@trevorfine9313: It’s in NO way weird to love yourself and heal yourself, anybody who thinks it’s weird is not worth your time or your energy, a lot of folks who committed suicide never gave themselves the chance to heal with self love, they didn’t know a way out of their troubles which self love would’ve helped them from but instead they might have dealt with insensitive a-holes who would’ve simply laughed at them for being weak or something,. So no, self love isn’t weird and it’s the most important thing folks can do to recalibrate themselves from the badness,.

We always talk about moving on from the bad. But what I find hard is moving on from the good... For years I have tried to get back into head space I was in five years ago. I felt invincible. Was in good shape, creative, seeing friends all the time, trying new things, travelling, and studying something I loved.... Now I struggle to get out of bed and sometimes don't even know what to do with myself.. Thinking back to those times hurts so much - because I don't know how to do that again and how to feel like that anymore.
I am trying to get better, trying to move on. Not just from the bad but from the good. One day at a time...

Its because its in the past, who you were back then is not who you are now, you need to create a NEW identity from today onwards, decide who you want to be from now into your future and create, if you want to be healthy and fit , start with that first, change your thoughts around food and maybe start with going for a walk each day , the more you do it , it will become part of your daily routine, get up, go for a walk, eat a nutritious breakfast , your creating a new identity , the person you want to be , doing what you want to do, you have to create, reinvent yourself , its so fun .... so who do you want to be ?

This photograph is incredible, I remember... I remember when I played on a basketball court, from which you could see an entire avenue, at night there was hardly any light, so we took a generator and put on some lights to continue playing almost all the night. I was thirteen years old, right there was where I kissed my first girlfriend.
Now I'm thirty-seven, I live in another country, I go from my house to work and from work to my house, and this music... I don't know if it's good for me to listen to it or not, it's all sadness and melancholy. I miss that basketball court, my friends, the girl, in general, my old neighborhood.

The song at 12:44 will always remind me of looking up at the night sky seeing the perfect view of the Starlink Satalite train amongst the stars.
I've always been fascinated by space and the intriguing beauty hidden in the universe but I always told myself I can't learn physics or math, that they are too hard and I'm just going to get frustrated and I will never be able to get a job in the field I love. I'm just an autistic guy with ADHD and a learning disability.
But in that moment it felt as though I had no limits. Physics and math is hard. But Rome was not built in a day.
You aren't going to understand everything right away. These things take time. But you work away bit by bit, you'll start to see things become clearer.
I'm starting to work at learning physics and math and maybe one day I'll be able to reach my goal and find a job in the field that I love most.
I wish everyone listening the best. No matter how dark the world may seem, the light will always come through in time. Per aspera ad Astra 🌠

I've listened to every part of the masterpiece but is there another place better than 12:44? I doubt that
Why does the city look so small? I have walked its paths and traversed its streets, every time a new experience. I have lived among its people, laughed, loved, cried and hated. I have heard its cacophony of sound and I have witnessed its lights and shadows. It has filled me with wonder, joy, trepidation and fear. It has seemed as a universe unto itself and yet as I walk away I take a final look through a hole in a fence and I wonder to myself....why does the city look so small?
Step by step is memories I leave behind when we kissed when we held hands as children to the day we got married then each thought of life we shared our last be as man and wife

This is beautifully universal. Grew up in a lot of places, and every town I lived in was a playground full of possibilities. Now that I'm an adult, trying my best to wander and live, it still pops up sometimes; the raw feeling of potential, of futures and paths untrodden. It's such a child-like feeling, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
The selection is good. Simple and calming.
