I'm rather excited for what other events Towers are doing this year if even a Feb Half Term event has stepped up to this sort of quality. It was very fun, great atmosphere and absolutely NEEDS you to partake in the challenges etc to get the full experience

For a pre season event this was a great improvement great to see they brought the pirate show back in mutiny bay courtyard I really that's a permanent stage used to love old pirate show

This year at towers feels so fresh and promising! It’s sad this hasn’t been the standard for the past few years but I’m sure it will be the norm in the near future.
Trying to find a reason to go to the pirate event is such a pain in the ARRRRRRse. Seriously though, they need to at least open Katanga Canyon and the Spinball area of Cbeebies land to make it worthwhile…
We spent a whole day here just from doing the challenges / treasure hunt alone. The only ride we did all day was Battle Galleons as it was part of the experience. For £15 for families this is a VERY good event. I never really bother with Spinball when it’s open but I think Rapids open would stretch the event too far out, I get your point though 😊
Great to see Towers are giving there Half Term event some effort to detail. I miss Alton Towers after going last year. I like staying over in the Hotel and I hope you did when you stayed the night? I'm considering booking it again somepoint this year?

For the entrance beside nemi and Galactica, do you have to stay at the hotel considering it's an event where the parks not open or can you just wonder in? We're going on the 24th Feb for the pirate takeover and we want to see nemi and galactica however we can't get down there. Is this the case or are we unable to
the dirty prison food strikes at again in the rollercoaster restaurant when are merlin going to kick them in to touch everyone hates them ? great vlog think i may have to go here now was going to give it a miss wish they would open pinball like the christmas event .
Just wouldn't fit with the event for me but I don't really do it anyways and they're certainly taking on feedback it's just the next steps towards improving the absolutely horrendous food that has plagued Merlin parks since the Aramark introduction

I'm not sure why Alton Towers haven't touched galactica. Project ocean makes me think that we will see the return of Air and it's oasis theme.
