I loved this alternative to have laundry & kitchen together on first floor!
The good: Nice aesthetic, both inside and outside. Sliding doors appreciated to save space. Interior laundry nook always welcome.
The bad: The balcony supports are too short. There is not enough room for the car. It will either scrape the house or the supports. Also, how could you open the driver's door?

Doing a partially "upside down" house has two virtues. It puts the bedroom on the same level as the bathroom, and it accesses the balcony - and the view - from a "public" space rather than from the bedroom. But the laundry machines belong on the same level as the bathroom and bathroom.

Not a fan of kitchen upstairs
We could play sardines with that tiny carport! Washer/dryer combo unit is upstairs but 90% of the laundry is generated downatairs. Horrible home for anyone I know.
