What colors are you using for the jiggin/ rippin raps? I fish a "tea stained" lake in Ontario where to forage is mostly perch. I am assuming something with a little more color/ fluorescence?
Catching walleye near home waters is rewarding. I've spent a lot of time finding techniques that work in these waters and it's great fishing.

In CT, fished for walleyes 4 times, have yet to see one. Starting to think they are like bigfoot...

In Lake Winnipeg, only 28+are considered as big walleye, Giants are 30+. My PB was only a 26 incher.

10 pounds or better is a big walleye but we get them in the teens in upstate ny
