And notable mention to Blanca Paloma, (what a mesmerising performance, if only her song was stronger) and Gonzalo (miss c*v*d really tried it… anyway, I really liked his ballad and would have loved to see him perform it live).

Congrets to Benidorm Festival and Spain for this good song. That was an amazing show. It is maybe the best song for the Eurovision but for me it is a song without a soul (if you understand what I wanna say). This song has no spanish heart. This song could be performed by any other country too (Greece, Sweden, Cyprus ...). Tanxuveira was my clear winner in Benidorm because it has everything that this song doesn't have. Anyway, the better song for the ESC is this song.

You know my friend this isn't Spanish this Latino, so different from Spaniard (European) county i really love the song and everything but this is not Spanish from Europe 100%, Here in my country we can speak Spanish and we have influence from Latinos but this Spanish. Technically it was the televoting that had her third. The demoscopic vote, which was like the other half of the public voting had her second. So From the public voting Chanel was on par with Rigoberta in Second. The jury made a big difference in the deciding vote. Tanxugueiras deserved at least 4th place not 5th. But there might have been some political (or antipolitical) voting by the Jury. There are rumours they might have been concerned about Tanxugueiras being too political.
Tanx's song was missing something to me. I felt like it was overrated and overhyped from the beginning. Everyone was talking about it but that doesn't mean it was good. When they finally staged it, I liked it a lot more, but it still felt like something was missing. Plus the 'Lalalala' parts were too repetitive and annoying, as were the 'Mamama' parts in Ay Mama which made it quite cringe. With this song, the repetitive parts, especially 'Mo mo mo' get into your head better and work with the song far better. It actually makes the song more memorable and catchy. Spain really haven't sent something like this and should. If this song doesn't do too well this year (which I don't see), Tanx, Rayden and the Ay Mama singer can enter next year if hopefully they host this kind of contest again (preferably with slightly different rules). At the end of the day, you can't compare this to Fuego, as many songs before that were also similar but also the dancing is much better in my opinion and unique to her. This is a different kind of spice.
