Hey man dam what a sound! I have a question, proud owner of 99 vtr with 90hp (recently dynoed at 107.7 at the wheels) in the past 2 years of ownership i removed the cat and mid silencer. had 2x a supersprint, remus and sebring muffler in combination with a supersprint manifold, the sound kinda stays the same and at about 3000 RPM it starts to rattle (no heatshield for sure) Any idea's?
hmm, I've had the same rattle noise when riding straight through exhaust with only backbox. Then I put a mid straight though silencer box in the middle of the car and rattling disappeared. You should try this, and forget remus and sebring kind of backboxes - only kamracing, supersprint kinda race style :)
@@filomatic true bit my car backfires with up and downshifts I am afraid with a mid silencer I won't get those backfires anymore
@@Grandpasaab my car also backfires every time I up/down shift. Just make sure it's a straight through silecer
@@filomatic Striahgt through mid silencer? it must be welded in between right? wont my exhaust sound be less deeper than now?
